Forgot the name of a game

Hey guys, I have been trying to figure out this game I played a lot, maybe 10-12 years ago. It was for the PC and it was a RTS type game. The user could make custom tank type things from the main menu and then use them in a skrimsh game. The game play started with a large mother ship type thing and you would have to be over this crystal stuff to gain some form of energy, and then you could build the tanks you ceated. you could chohose from treads that could go over rocks to normal tires that were faster and hover crafts that could go over water. I think you might be looking for Warzone. That at least has the customization in units you're looking for.

Can this be a general "what the hell was that game called?!" thread? 'cause I've got one that has been bothering me for some time.

There was this game on the PC a loooong time ago where you were a robot (i think) who had to get to the bridge of a ship for some reason or other. It was sort of a point-and-click adventure and there was a randomly moving robot that would kill you if it found you. I'm just going off of memories that I vaguely remember of watching my dad play it when I was a wee child.

Could you be looking for the game Robot City? That's the only thing that I can think of.

I looked at this just now it wasnt it. There wasnt really any bases or anything. There was just one main big ship guy that builds all the units. I feel like it looked kinda like a cat almost. could be wrong though, it was a while ago hahaha. thanks though
