I'm sure it's come up before, but whatever. What are some cartoons you all remember from your youths, or that you just discovered, that you wish had gotten remembered by history?

Me? Here's a few:

Freakazoid!
Possibly the most powerful superhero alive, basically because he has the powers of a looney toon. Fighting crime in a parody world Freakazoid was hilarious and I really miss it.

Men in Black, the Animated Series
Pretty good action packed cartoon series that followed the premise set down by the first movie, just blatantly ignoring the ending. Really if they had based the sequal movies on the plots from the cartoon show... wait the third pretty much WAS one of the plots from the show and actually MIB 3 was a passable movie. No, MIB animated wasn't TEH BEST EVAR! but still, I wish I could find it on Netflix or something. Some day maybe I'll just buy the box set but still.

I also loved Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys!

Monkeys from earth spontaneously gain intelligence and now fight battles in space. They all had interesting personalities and a good story going, all of it tongue in cheek, but still pretty interesting.

I haven't got the foggiest idea why this didn't catch on! It's an animé that involves teenagers fighting monsters, it aired on Adult Swim, and it's got Vic Mignogna in the starring role! How did this just slip underneath the rader!? This serious was awesome!

Looking back at it... I really did enjoy Hey Arnold! when I was younger. Dunno why but I liked that Football head. ^.^

Edit: Dave the Barbarian! Why did I forget to mention this show?

Most of the rest of my favorites have stood up to the test of time or have made a pretty big come back since then.

I really liked watching Totally Spies!. It was funny, grounded, and relatable. It put an interesting perspective on something as classic as secret agents.

I'm gonna go with the original Dragon Ball series, now hear me out on this.
While Dragon Ball Z may be one of the most popular anime series ever Dragon Ball is often forgotten or never even watched by many fans. Why this is is thanks to just that, so grossly overshadowed by its successors popularity it got left in the wayside of conversation to a degree that time has nearly erased it from the memories of the majority of the age group that consumed the DBZ culture.
It make me quite sad as my personal opinion is that Dragon Ball's the superior anime by a fair measure.

Oh man, I didn't know it had an anime.
Loved the manga too, guess I'll need to watch it some time.

On the contrary, I hate Arnold's stupid-looking head, along with the whole aesthetic of the show, and the internet won't let me forget it. Along with half the other cartoons I hated as a child.

Welp, almost everything so far in this thread I've already binge watched to death at Toonami Aftermath. I was browsing Netflix the other day and came across a bunch of old Charlie Brown holiday specials. Man that Turkey Day one didn't hold up too well over the years for me.

I used to really love Rocko's modern life and I clean forgot about it until Lisa Foiles mentioned it in one of her top 5 videos and I went back and watched some of the episodes again and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Class of 3000

The characters were relatible and all the songs were done by Outcast's Andrea 3000... GLOBDAMN do I miss this show!!!
Why did it almost got sued for something that was total bullshit to begin with?! *flips table*

It another one of those shows (alongside Ed, Edd, n' Eddy) that I wish had the complete series on DVD...

About 6 months ago I remembered a show I loved as a kid and rewatched it: Mighty Max.
The premise? A kid gets a supernatural baseball cap that can open portals, and fights the forces of mythology, mad science, and everything in between.
