True - Sadly sometimes family have a tendency to not be very close to you. Even though that fact is a very sad one, we don't have a much possibility to care much when such a distant family member is going away =(

True - They tend to be a boring must-attend-to kinda situation. And as you are more of a "twisted mind", kinda person, you rather have something imidietly entertaining. Wich funerals are not. And funerals are more boring if they happen to be for a distant family member, or someone you generally didn't know very well.
And also. Even though you're not the most sensitive person on The Escapist, you dislike the whole griefing part about funerals. No matter who lies there, it hits you hard

True. I was wrong in my earlier post about the embarrassing thing, however, as you just confessed to going through something so weird with your boss that you refuse to post it here amongst anonymous peers.

So I'm blaming/crediting you And while you were dead on about the first part of your answer, the truth is I couldn't care less about the person who died, even though she was a grandmother. I just never really got to know her or had any real interest in her. Most of the people I know are under that basic description. I mean, if someone killed my brothers, I'd move them to the top of a long shit list, but other than that...nothing. The only person I can think of whose death would really make me upset is my girlfriend. I'm strangely detached from most of humanity. Holy damn that was a long subtext [/sup]
