Well, he did forget Nobel Laureate and On The Record, of which is 15000+ and 5000-7499 posts respectively.

Speaking of which how do you get those?

That's something I've always wondered, how do you manage to get a unique title? Do you need to do something especially unique for the community, or post a lot of articles, or something?

In the case of Decoy, Gigantor, and myself, we all won review contests. As far is Jon Ethridge and Yahtzee, theirs is due to being video contributors. For Joe, we don't ask. He simply is.

I used to beg a lot for a return of those (extremely fun) competitions; the reason I didn't enter the last one was simply because I hadn't played Fallout 3 and didn't have anything that could even run the game at the time.

Sadly, Review Wars is no longer. But it was fun while it lasted.

1-10 = Anonymous Source.
11-49 = Paperboy.
50-199 = Copy Clerk.
[200-299 = Muckracker]
300-499 = Beat Writer.
500-699 = Infamous Scribbler.
700-999 = Pulitzer Laureate.
1000[-4999] = Gone Gonzo.

5000-7999 = On the Record.
8000-9999 = Master Archivist.
10,000-14,999 = Wordsmith Extraordinaire.
>15,000 = Nobel Laureate.

There might be more, but those are the ones we're aware of, for now.

Then there are the users with unique titles, like myself, Decoy Doctorpous, and Gigantor.

That is almost exactly how I ran my old forums. I only gave special titles to mods and admins, though (I have no idea what the requirements are here).
