Foul moods for the most mundane reasons.

I like to think of myself as a nice, calm person. And it really takes a tonne of stuff to get me in any form of bad mood, let alone foul.

But sometimes, you get into one for the most shameful of reasons, and can't actually justify it.

Take two minutes ago for example.

Where I am right now (England) it is nearly three A.M. I'm in bed on the laptop whilst my girlfriend sleeps silently.

Except said girlfriend for some reason won't stop fidgeting. And whilst doing so has hit the laptop, not once. Not twice, but five times in the space of an hour.

I don't even know why it's annoying me. But my word, the fact that the screen has taken more knocks tonight than the door of a street filled with Jehova's witnesses has really made me dread the next 'fidget attack'.

Has anybody else ever got in such a ridiculous mood for such a mundane, pointless reason?

The other night I made myself a bowl of Raisin Bran. It was almost the last bit left in there, and after getting upstairs and digging in I realize that there are NO raisins.

I was more upset than anyone has any business being.

Yeah, mainly happens to me when I'm tired. I get irritable quickly and when I stop to think about it there's really no reason I should be irritated at all. It's very odd.

Well pretty much just animals, I can't stand them they just piss me off, I get really angry when there are animals around, specially noisy ones just they're presence annoys me so much that I start to grind my teeth, and if it makes one noise like a dog barking I just start yelling at him to shut up, and if it does it's necessities indoors I will just go mad, seriously I just can't stand animals, not to mention they are filthy as hell and even when they have been just cleaned they smell bad, so yeah I just really hate animals I guess, I won't kill them though, even if they disgust me, I mean I once carried a dog that got attacked by some pit bulls to the vet, and I was covered in blood, it was pretty disgusting, but granted that was my brother's dog which is pretty much the only animal in the world I can stand but it still annoys me greatly.

I've considered suicide because I had a really sore throat once. And I am a very happy guy. But this sore throat. It was the worst.

Being woken up too early when I'm having trouble sleeping and have just gone to bed. Last time it happened I nearly took their damn heads off.

That's probably the only thing that can really get to me.

If I don't get coffee before 11, then I will be in a shit mood for the rest of the day. Same goes if I go without coffee for longer than 2 hours.

Generally I get into bad moods when stuff is entirely out of my control and I have to wait to see how it plays out. But I think that's quite normal.

I also need my morning coffee. I think I don't have blood in my system anymore. Just coffee...

O.T I share an appartment with my older brother which is rather cool. After both living alone for 2 years, we managed to adapt quite well, but one thing he hasn't learned is to throw out empty cartons of milk or to put in a new one. So when i want milk, there's a chance I won't have cold milk, or that we simply forgot to buy new milk because everyone thought we still had milk.

But I'm hardly at fault, because I do the dishes when I want to and he usually did them during cooking or right after eating, so it's something I have to work on.

I don't know why but loud noises kind of...overwelm me.

The other day I was in a great mood I was frying up some bacon (the maple kind). I forgot to open a window and the smoke alarm went off and my two dogs started barking like crazy, all the noise just seemed to get the better of me.... I found my self screaming at the dogs to shut up and actually lashing out at them, I'm glad they were fast enough to move out of the way of me because if i'd have actually hurt them I'd hate myself for it.

Once, when I was a kid, my mother asked me & my brother if we were going to brush our teeth before we went to bed. I thought it was a trick question, because I always do, so I answered "no". She shrugged, went about her business, and I thought nothing of it.

Later as I was getting into bed, I saw her eating snake lollies. I asked her why she hadn't offered me any, and she said "because you refused to brush your teeth before bed". Then walked away.

It destroyed me. I cried into my pillow for a few minutes, then spent the next hour unable to get to sleep, struggling under the crushing weight of pure disappointment. I could've had snake lollies, and now I didn't, and I had no-one but myself to blame.

I will forever regret giving a stupid answer to a simple question.

If I don't have my morning tea, don't talk to me. You won't like me when I'm tea-less.

It pisses me off when someone clearly has something to say to me, but won't.

Way too much.

I try to put things in perspective whenever I can. I've been recovering from a suicide attempt for a few years, so it's not easy. But I like to look at it this way: whatever the thing is that's annoying or upsetting you, if you let it do that, it's got control over you. Find the positive in everything, no matter how hard, and life is a whole lot better. Even if it's just saying hello to a stranger with a smile.

[Reads the start of your post]: Oh shit! I've got to send this person a message and ask them if they are okay!

[Reads the rest of your post]: Oh... They were joking... False alarm! Everyone calm down, lol.
