Until the last three levels or so, Perfect Dark had employees of a dark corporation. They weren't terrorists, zombies, or anything of the sort.

Alien vs Predator lets you play as aliens against humans. That's gotta count for something.

Must...resist...obvious...answer......SPLICERS!!!

I guess the soldiers from F.E.A.R. don't fall into any of those categories.

Fallout 3. Ghouls, raiders, mutants, giant crabs, etc.

Well, in Battlefield: Bad Company, you fight Russians and Serdaristanians (or whatever they're called).

Speaking of Russians, that should also be added to your list of generic shooter cannon fodder. They don't get much love.

Also Call of Duty 4, the baddies were Russian Nationalists and Middle Eastern Revolutionaries.
Technically they were Russian Ultranationalists, but I'll let this one slide... :]
So you let it slide by pointing out the mistake and correcting it?

:]

On topic, in Jedi Knight: Dark Forces I and II you're up against Storm Troopers and they're Clones. I'm also trying to think of an FPS I've played where you're up against robots but can't.

I still want to make a game that mixes all of the genres.
Just think Genre Wars turned serious RTS. That would kill.

Really? 30 posts and noone's said Stormtroopers? The Galactic Empire, people!
Wouldn't they fall more into the alien category? Unless Earth somehow made it into the Star Wars universe and they cloned earthlings since I don't recall ever seeing a real earthling in Star Wars. Sure they had things that looked like humans but they were from different planets.

Only if you're being spectacularly pedantic. Humans are humans are humans are humans. They may not have specifically come from Earth (although that's in debate, I understand), but they're humans.

On that note, do the humans in Battlestar Galactica count as aliens, then?

I dunno about Battlestar I never watched it. What I do know is Star Wars is set "in a galaxy far far away" and with that just because they look like humans doesn't mean they are. Especially when you start factoring in the human like Jedis.
