I prefer a mid-range combat over close or long ranges. Just something so that I'm able to be outside of someone's shotgun range and my rifle has a chance to kill him before he gets to me.

just as a side note, a couple of the options would be better with a middle ground, like the 'outdoor/indoor' one. for me on FPSs, i like maps that are expansive but aren't just flat planes. having a plane with hills/buildings/bunkers adds more variety and allows different strategies to be implemented.
