Looks like a quake map to me.Signa said:A friend just send me a joke image criticizing the lack of complexity in FPS level design today. What I found so amusing about it besides the joke is that I actually recognized the example map they used. I was wondering if any other escapists can identify the map as well. I'm looking for game and level name here.

(Map on the left. I hope you don't think I recognized the joke map)
I edited out the full date so as not to make it a total giveaway while maintaining the joke for those who also will be amused by it.
Anyway, spoiler your answer if you know it so you don't ruin it for others. For the noobs, this means writing {spoiler}game name{/spoiler} but using [ ] brackets instead.
Assuming you didn't read the rest of the posts before posting, good job!Omikron009 said:It looks to me like a level map from.Jedi Knight

Was that a clever hint/pun?Signa said:If you're trying to ID the map on the right, sure, why not?PayJ567 said:Is it Call of Duty Modern Warfare?
It depends completely on how it's presented. Metroid Prime is a perfect example of a complex map design with "Red Key" elements, and not many people look back at those games disfavorably.coolguy5678 said:You know, I'm not convinced backtracking and "you need the red keycard" is much of an improvement over linear maps.
