Deus Ex is the only game series that I will defend with a fanboys passion. I even defend Invisible War out of brand loyalty and I will not hear of any criticism and I will never admit to any flaws either of them might have. I will also defend Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls and Hitman, but I usually don't get to heated about those.

and WoW b/c "only people with no life play that" STFU ITS MY MAIN CURE FOR BOREDOM. just b/c i play doesnt mean my life and friends i had before just go away. i still talk to friends AND go outside

L4D. I would say the TF series, but I didn't play TFC, so I can't really defend that.
While L4D2 might have felt like an expansion, I think both games are very enjoyable and have high replay value.

Mortal Kombat! I was irritated about Armageddon's "Kreate-A-Fatality" and MKvsDC's Teen rating, but I still got them both. And it looks as though my faith will be rewarded soon.

I'll defend Shin Megami Tensei to the death. It's the one series that hasn't had a game that's bad. The storylines and setting of each game are unique, deep and dark which you don't find in many RPGs at all. The majority of those that insult the series have usually never played a game and judge on appearances only.
The Sly Cooper series, all three games rocked harder than any other PS2 games I've ever played and, in my opinion, only got better as they made sequels

Mass Effect, Fallout, and to be perfectly honest, Halo. I'm not a fanboy. At least not a typical Halo fanboy.
