I hope it's real. Looks awesome.

Aside from a slight innaccuracy that probably only bugs me because I'm a massive nerd. I could've swore that he only had one knife glove?

As seen in A Nightmare on Elm Street 6: Freddy's Dead which told a little more about his origin he had many gloves and not all of them were knife gloves. Of course that is just a part of one movie as fans we are used to seeing him with just one, and it is odd that he has two in the game. As far as Freddy being in a MK game? Not sure whether or not I like this idea.

But do any of us really want to acknowledge nightmare on elm street 6? Really? XD

If this is real, I wonder whether they have any intentions of putting other film characters in? Frank Martin from the transporter somehow seems a good fit. Maybe they could even put Malcolm Reynolds in? Nah, he'd be over powered. He'd instantly explode his opponent with the sheer "type awesome" radiation he carries.

I really hope they don't put Jason in, though. Freddy's pretty fast and limber, but seeing Jason, the giant lumbering killer he is, suddenly bust out an ultra fast combo just wouldn't work.

I'd expect Jason in the fall (probably Halloween) because of that rumor that said Freddy and Jason would be in Mortal Kombat. I'm actually not put off by this at all, I mean, I don't like Freddy Kruger or the movies, but it fits--in a way.

I got the season pass for the four characters, and I'm not disappointed in any.
