Desktop Dungeons?
This.

In edition you could provide a commentary track detailing your descent into madness as this game consumes you.

...

I've lost a LOT of time to this game. It's insane. It seems so simple but the more you play the more strategy you find.
I've lost count of how long I've played and I've still only completed two dungeons. Stuck on the Warlord. I only have the Fighter and Barbarian finished.
I've managed to unlock all 12 of the base classes and races. Attempting to unlock the harder stuff is just ridiculous though.

Not that it stops me.

I'm doing a PC Playthroughs channel on YouTube but my awesome computer broke down shortly after starting it and I'm forced to use a laptop. I want to keep doing games but the laptop is not built for gaming so I can only play old games with horrible graphics.

Can anyone recommend some old, free PC games I could download?

Emulators?

Pick your fav console, download the ROM's and go nuts.

Definitely try Ninja Gaiden for the NES with some cheats on.

Frantic, fun and you can actually play it! (as apposed to just dying every five seconds . . . bloody Ninja Gaiden)

Well I like a little bit of everything, but my favourites are RPGs and Shooters.

That will give you access to a wide variety of games, if you know where to look, just not at all legally.

Well until there's a decent AAA FPS we're not going to see any good free to play FPS games. As for the RPG well...I've got hundreds.

5 Days a Stranger.
7 Days a Skeptic.
Trilby's Notes.
6 Days a Sacrifice.
Play them in that order.
This, many many times this.

If you like point and click adventures, but without the overly obtuse puzzles (Notes excluded) then these are truly great games with a properly affecting storyline.
