Could anybody recommend some good F2P MMORPGs? Which is the most "generous" F2P MMORPG?
That ridiculously pervy loli-fest TERA has one of the most generous, appealing FTP models out there. They deserve kudos for doing it right.
Hehe I meant generous as in there aren't that many subscribers-only features, but fair enough, a lot of people seem to be recommending TERA.

I like it when they focus on cosmetic stuff for limitations, I'll definitely check it out.
Also if you have a big amount of cash, the developers can create your own item that YOU can design ^^
It's not that I'm trying to be stingy, but I don't own a credit card (never did) and I've never gotten around paying for stuff online. To complicate things further, I'm in Argentina, which doesn't get me far in formularies.
Nah, no problem, neither I would spend 1000 DOLLARS just to design a weapon!!!!
I just saying what you can do in the game.
Wow it literally takes U$1000? Who spends that much on something like that?
Well.......if someone have a credit card and have a lot of money and don't mind give a big amount for that, yes, a lot of people actually.

Me I am exacly the opposite. I alwasy trying to get games as cheap as possible.

Actually, if I remember right, someone paid 1000 dollars just to create a weapon base the MLP fandom:

Yep, if you are fun of the series, you will understand the references.
I suppose I "get" the blade is meant to look like a unicorn's horn. I thought they were ponies though, not unicorns?

Then...you don't count DDO as an MMO either, since it instances all the actual content? Ditto for our old dead friend CoH?
CoH had plenty of non-instanced content. GW1 and DDO were very much MMOs in name only. MMO-Lite. They were more like Diablo than, say, Everquest or WoW.
I can suggest a Diablo 3 if you like also for the near future:

Lineage Eternal

Don't get me wrong. I am not recommending TERA the game. In fact, I'm pretty sure recommending TERA the game to a stranger or a minor could land you in prison. I am, however, willing to praise TERA the FTP model, because they did an excellent job with it. It's how FTP models SHOULD be. Entice people to spend money with carrots, not sticks.

ill say vindictus, its has a n amazing combat system and it doesnt restrict you at all, it even has way better combat than guild wars 2 or any game for the matter.

the actual community is also really good, if a bit pervy.

Sadly my one co-op buddy has a Mac for a computer. That might complicate things a bit.
Not really. While the Turbine MMO's were PC only, when they put them on Steam, the games were also made available for Macs.

The only thing that would hold you back is that Turbine went down yesterday for maintenance and hasn't come back yet. :(
Eyup, Turbine supports Mac too, though I'm fairly sure you have to go through Steam for it.

Actually the reference have to do with the villain of the first season of MLP: Nightmare Moon

In the show, Nightmare Moon had banished from Princess Celestia to the Moon for 1000 years.
In other words, it is suggest this is the Nightmare Moon's horn.

Google Nightmare Moon to see the character.
