In Sweden we like to dip them in ICE CREAM or MILKSHAKE.

depends what I have with them at the time. Sometimes I eat them unsalted, with tartar sauce, with ketchup, or mayo mixed with ketchup.
You people and your overly decadent and inefficient fry eating! Ketchup is the one true fry condiment!

At a fast food place I eat them as I get them.
At home I use salt and vast amounts of ketchup.

If the fries are good enough and it is available, I do like to dip them in gravy. If I'm eating fish with them, I douse the fish and the fries with malt vinegar. Then I shower with salt and enjoy.

I always eat them with ketchup. ALWAYS. If I can't have ketchup with my fries, I am a very sad panda. Never cheese though, I'm not a fan of cheese fries.
Also, I've recently decided the seasoning salt you can buy from Steak 'n Shake is the greatest thing ever. That, and their combos are really cheap and the portions aren't overblown like other fast food restaurants.

If I'm eating french fries, then I'm probably at a fast food place so they're already covered in salt and I might put vinegar on them. If I'm eating chips, proper chips, then shitloads of vinegar, maybe gravy or curry sauce if I can be bothered to make/order it. Proper fish & chip shop chips with gravy are pretty much the tits.
Usually with ketchup, but there are some french fry types that don't need it to be really good. For more novelty, I do like chili fries and garlic fries, those can be really tasty(even if garlic fries give you terrible breath for a few days).
