I have 43 "friends" on here.
I think 6 of them don't post anymore and at least 4 have been banned since my friending of them.
I've never met another user in real life, but I did go to college with someone from here when I was in New York.
I'm not very active in the forums here anymore. I just haven't been drawn in. I also have tended, since joining, to avoid many long-lasting relationships because of how quickly the community changes and people drop out.

I have no friends here. It's sort of liberating actually. On other places I have to be weary that one of my mates might find my comment and there are certain things I would not discuss with them.

All of my friends on the escapist are people It was an absolute joy to speak to so I was more than happy to add them, but I usually only add someone if they add me first.
I guess to tell you my view on my friends here.. well.. they're all people I truly consider friends, I didn't just add them for conveniences sake

I currently have 54 friends. I know two of them in real life, few I'd like to meet in real life.
I don't remember, but I've done my fair share of adding.
Why did I add them? Most of the time it humour and/or good conversation. One lead to a drinking contest... good times.

I have one friend... Quoted me on a thread, and I realised I knew them IRL. But other than that coincidence, forever alone.
Some requests I got and some I sent. Of course, the ones I sent it to, I tend to chat with them daily. Whenever possible anyway. Would love to meet quite a few in real life.

Cool posts, they seem nice, similar interests, because of a cool avatar sometimes. Had a good conversation with a few and became friends through that.

2) I only know one of them IRL. The others are all just random people who decided they wanted to add me/I decided to add them. Sometimes we talked first, but for some of the people, I don't think I've ever said a single word to them.

Only got one friend. He added me, and I chose no, but he's still on my profile.
Not very intrested in making friends on this site. It's a bit too big for that in my opinion. Makes it hard to separate the crowd.
