If all the sam&max, tales of monkey island, wallace and gromit etc. episodes count seperate, TellTaleGames for sure. otherwise I can't be bothered to count, but my guess is EA, followed by ubisoft and then activision, with a side dish of Blizzard and a dash of Atari.

Square Enix, but only by a few as I have a pretty good spread. Most of my favorite publishers don't release enough games to be high on the list (IE, Blizzard, Valve.)

On a side note, I find it a little disturbing how many people don't know the difference between a publisher and a developer.

Probably EA. My brothe buys a lot of sports games like FIFA. Other games like Mass Effect and Call of Duty tip the scales on their favor.

EA. If it were based on actual playtime it'd probably be a split between Bethesda and Blizzard though.

[Intended subtext: given a choice of only getting 1 game I'd choose one from Bethesda over one from EA].

I'm going by just the games I currently own. But just checking this generation, the only game from Activision this generation I've played Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. That was a letdown, too. I do remember one game from when I was a kid that was published by Activision. It was Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure. That was one of the few games I played on my computer growing up, and the rest I know were all from Lucas Arts. The only consoles I had as a kid were the NES and N64 (and I had only a handful of games for those. No more than seven or eight for each, none published by Activision). I wasn't gaming at all during the Gamecube and original Xbox era. So, yeah. I've only ever played two Activision games.
Fair enough. Well, at least I can recommend one of their older titles, the already mentioned Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines. Pure RPG gold that is, with a setting that's woefully under-represented in videogames. Do patch it to heaven and back though.

CAPCOM

I don't know the difference between developer and publisher.
Perhaps I did wrong.

For PS2:
Sony - 10
Square-Enix - 10
Namco - 8
Capcom - 5
Eidos - 4
Activision - 4
Konami - 4

For DS:
Nintendo - 8
Square-Enix - 7
Natsume - 4
Capcom - 3
Konami - 3
Atlas - 1

So, combined, Square-Enix wins with 17 total games. Already figured this, but rather surprising to see just how my library stacks up.

I think Valve, Square, and Activision is tied for me.
Orange box and L4D2

All PS2 Final Fantasies (Except 11. That thing can pretty much be the Holy Grayel for how hard it is to get.) as well at IX and VII and 3 DS games

And all Guitar hero PS2 games.

For me it's a tie between Bioware, Bohemia Interactive, Bethesda and Ubisoft...

Not entirely sure on the publishers, though, and checking is effort.
Bohemia?
Haven't they only published two games?
Three if you count Operation Arrowhead.

Probably EA, by the looks of it for me.
Bohemia & Codemasters did two Operation Flashpoint games way back now, but I'm not entirely sure on who published them...

T' be honest, I've looked through my games collection & the most common publisher was actually EA. So there we have it.

I think EA. Which is surprising considering I don't own any battlefield, or sports games. If you count Sony as a publisher then definitely them.
