So as the title explains I've been getting frost on the inside of my Car, and it's a pain in the ass. I googled it and most of the answers were to not use the Air Recycle System and to crack a window.

I'm a little skeptical of these remedies so I'm wondering if anyone on here could give some input, that and I don't want to go to a Mechanic only for it to be a waste of time.

When that happens to me, I just turn the heater on and let the car warm up for a few minutes, that takes care of it.

We just live with it here on the Canadian prairies. Air will get in no matter what... and when it's -40 like it is now... you just live with it. Best thing to do is get in the car, turn it on full-blast and start scraping. Credit cards and such work best - or you can buy little mini credit-card shaped scrapers to keep inside the car.

Make sure your air circulation is opposite of the setting for air conditioning. I can't remember which is which, but my car has a handy switch with pictures. Cracking a window does help too, actually. Keeps the air temperature inside vs outside balanced (well, it balances it faster) so frost has less time to form.

My car isn't too bad and doesn't usually frost up on the inside, by my sister's is terrible for it. I'm not sure if it's just the make or what... but also keep the vents under your windshield wipers clear of snow - if it's covered it just blows moist air into the cabin and makes it worse.

i hear soap is the solution since fog/frost is caused by moisture inside the car and the soap will cause the moisture to bead and run off.

Any time in the past I've had frost forming on the inside of my windshield turning the vents to open as opposed to recirculate has fixed it. You might as well try those two tips, since they're free and all.

Just put the heater on and let it warm up ( put it to the setting that looks like it points to the windscreen) no point in rubbing stuff all over your windscreen. in my cars handbook (ford fiesta) it also recommend putting the heat on along with the AC as it drys the air, don't know mow much truth there is in that but it certainly helps for me.
