Me (and I hope tons of people) still play Morrowind. That game does not look good now. But it's fun and I love it.

In the end, some people will disagree. Just look at what happened when Gearbox announced the graphic style change for Borderlands, a lot of people didn't like it despite the rest of the game remaining the same.

I agree, a good example of this is the recent game Prototype. The graphics aren't that up to snuff but the core gameplay is so fun that it more than makes up for it.

Actully thinkin bout it, [Prototype] is exactlly this case, so much fun, and the buildings look like blocks.......

This thread is reason #1072 why the Escapist is a great gaming website. Everyone (or most of us) here can understand that graphics are superfluous.
