Right. I'm new to these forums so I'm not sure if this topic should be here or in the OTF, but whatever.
Anyways, I was wondering how many fun moment you all have had in L4D1 or L4D2. Whether it be a miserable fail or embarrassing mistake or whatever, go ahead and share!
---
I'll start it off:
Recently, my friends and I decided to pub-stomp in L4D2. So, on Swamp Fever and on the third level and as the survivors, we decided to use melee weapons and pills only; no guns, no tools, no shots. And, for fun, we decided to go "one for all, all for one." So one of us (I'll deem him 'Person B') made it to the saferoom while the rest of us got incapped. I die and so does another, leaving 'Person A' sitting there, incapped, at something like 250 health. Naturally, the infected team sat there banging at the saferoom door.
Long story short, just as A died, B opened the door and closed it within a 1-2 second timeframe. Within that time though, a jockey jumped in onto B. Our "only true chance for worthwhile points" was gone because B got himself ridden and, to top it off, locked himself in as we began to watch the slow incapping process.
It pretty much made my day.
