What are the moments that made you laugh the most in any game? Mine have to be almost every one of the Sam and Max games, especially the moment when Sam reads the Banang bottle until he falls over in Chariots of the Dogs, and pretty much every cutscene from that old shooter Armed and Dangerous. Also, every classic Lucasarts adventure game probably had at least a few very funny moments. Giants: Citizen Kabuto, an overlooked gem of a game, was a very funny game as well.

More recently, I've had quite a few chuckles by tackling people in Assassin's Creed for no reason at all, especially preachers in mid-sentence.

probably jonh cleese in "jade empire". he doesn't even say anything that funny, but it's still somewhat cool for him to play an "easterner" in a game. (the joke is that they're already east... whatever) anyway, good stuff. "you savages probably don't even know how to grow a proper mustache to save your life!"

I know there's already way too much GLaDOS fandom here, but just about everything she says leaves me in stitches, so I have to mention it.

I think my favorite line is after you complete that one level that she told you was the training course for military androids:

You have done well, android. The Enrichment Center once more reminds you that 'android hell' is a real place where you will be sent at the first sign of defiance.

The most fun I've ever had while gaming must be when me and my friends played our own variant of Skate and Destroy where we were supposed to hurt our character in the funniest way possible =D

The most rewarding stunt was to throw yourself towards a streetlight and then letting go of the board and managing to grab the light instead, making the character flipping out completely with rag doll spasms and also boosting the damage you had taken to ridiculous amounts xD

My stunt is still the winner after throwing myself to a ramp, bouncing off with mild spasms, then grabbing a streetlight while in the air stretching my arms to twice the body length and then had some sort of convulsions similar to electrocuting the brain or something xD I think we laughed for like an hour or so =D

There was a bail mode in the first Dave Mirra game for the PS1.

Our favourite was getting hit by the train and steering the flying BMXer into a pool.

Some guy in Star Wars Galaxies was running around in pink hawtpants, a bandolier, a rebel ace pilot helmet, and was wielding a stunstick, and ran up behind people so it looked like it was shoved up thier ass, and said "Please remove yourself from my stick.". The sad part is, he used to be my rp Jedi Master.

He would also get behind people and use the /cheer animation repeatedly and very quickly, making it look like he was humping them.

Also, one of my in-game friends was attending an RP party, got 'drunk', commanded people to go upstairs in five minutes, and then he went up there. When we went up there, his avatar was completely unequipped, and he kept saying "I lost my pants. That must mean I need some lovin'. C'MERE, *guild leader name*!!!"

all my really funny moments were in halo... 1? i cant remember if 2 was included. i never laughed in 3 :|

anyways, yea my best moment in halo1 was when i was playing campaign with a friend on Two Betrayals level (with the banshees). i had previously been killing him on purpose with my banshee. then i would hit a wall REALLY high up and he would spawn and fall to his death immediately after. then we decided to actually continue. so i spawned onto a ledge where we were supposed to fly to and fight the flood. then i wondered whether knocking all the banshees off the ledge would spawn more so we both preceded to knock all the banshees off the ledge. well the last one was caught on the edge so i threw a plasma on it. it was a delayed plasma (happens randomly) and at that moment my friend didnt see me throw it and he thought it would be a good idea to take the banshee and get revenge on me from earlier. so he flew off, a sizzling grenade still attached to his means for revenge. he turns the banshee around to kill me. our talk to each other at this time was "bye-bye" and then "bye-bye" and his banshee exploded before he could kill me. long story, but the best moment ive had in a game in a long time.

also playing the 2D worms games for the PC always have good laughs

Me and a few buddies have failed to complete co-op Halo 2 on legendary for about a year and a half now, cuz whenever any of us actually get together to play it is impossible to beat any levels because we're too busy killing each other, particularly at the most in opportune times, or shooting the NPCs, or tank surfing. Either way, it leads all of us to be dying of laughter on the floor, while my one serious friend is always shouting, "JESUS CHRIST!!! COMEON!!! CAN'T WE JUST DO THIS ONCE WITHOUT DICKING AROUND!!!"

I got several moments to share so here we go:

1. When I finally up and quit Gunbound, I was in my last battle and I was in that tank that shoots missiles and my last attack was setting up my special attack and just blasting it full power across the screen. The funny part was when it went all the way across the screen to blast someone full in the face. Thus rewarding me with a damage hit of around 190+ and an award for doing so..oh and both teams shouting out "Holy shit!"

2. Getting peeved off at Prince of Persia puzzles and time-power tricks after failing to do them after a dozen tries, but then on a final go at it while being pissed off managing to pull it out perfectly.

3. Scoring a head shot with the Redeemer in the ol' versions of Unreal.

4. Freezing and KOing a players 40 levels higher than me in iRO and getting away before he could slice me a new one.

5. Getting the highest kills be blindly racing around the map in the fastest vehicle.

6. Watching anyone play Guitar Hero and likewise games.

7. Having a friend tank me in the epic level dungeons in iRO, then finding out that the reason he was walking in funny patterns was because he was HIGH!

Playing We Love Katamari on Co-op mode: BEST. THING. EVER.

Kill me for this (and sod ya if you do :p) but Singstar replays in squeaky high voices, especially when you go off key (Me singing Gwen Stefani: What You Waiting For? for example. Much hilarity!)

I was playing Oblivion with a friend, and he pursuaded me to get a horse. I stole one and ran away. After a while of running i bumped into a wild wolf who was attacking my horse. I got off and started attacking the wolf, when my blade slipped and accidentaly hit the horse.

Well, the horse couldn't understand that i was its friend, so it started attacking me. I triedc to kill it but it wouldn't die! So i ran. I jumped off a high cliff and stopped running. I turned around to see if the horse was still chasing me and NEEEEIIIGGGGHHHH!! the horse fell right on top of me!!

Me and my friends were laughing so hard i fell off my gaming chair.

The only laugh out laugh out loud moments I can think of in a game were during Timesplitters:FP

I particularly Lol'd at the this our enemy bit where they show a picture of Cortez as the Mr universe

Oh also the monkey island games, as there really the only point and click lucas arts Ive played. The singing pirate barber shop, trio(?) are still nocking around my harddrive somewhere rhyming away.
