My funniest moment: The part where he kills you.
Portal 1 and 2 are some of the smartest funniest games I've played and are among my favorites.

Funniest Game: Deadly Premonition
It is hilarious and absurd, and I hadn't heard of it or Suda 51 until Jim Sterling reviewed it. It turned me on to Suda and I just love his shameless, intentional with a question mark, weird humor.
Honorable mentions: The Portals duh, Fallout 2 and New Vegas, TES fun glitches (rare), Lollipop Chainsaw, and Red Faction Guerrilla (C Movie Cutscenes, fun physics)

Be sure to share personal stories. Everyone knows and loves the part where he kills you, but not everyone has heard of the time when you got to Legate Lanius and, knowing he would charge down at you, preemptively layed down every mine and C4 you had (47) on one spot and turned him into Superman.

Armed and Dangerous, The Bard's Tale, and Shadows of the Damned (other Suda 51 game). I would have to say these are some of the funniest games I have played.

I like Joker's comments in both Batman games. In AA, when he asks Batman, "What are you most afraid of Batman? Failing here? Seeing Gotham destroyed? Me...in a THONG?!" That makes me laugh.

I also like his line in AC. "It's not like you've got a girl to save anymore, is it? Oh, I'm sorry. Too soon?"

I also like Lugo's opening dialogue in Spec Ops: The Line "Status is chafed, sir."
"You say 'chafed' sergeant?"
"Yes, sir! A local air-borne insurgency has infiltrated the U.S. Zone designated as my pants!"
and
"Wow...if I wasn't a harden killing machine, that might have hurt." Both those lines made me laugh. I was so said as I watched his humor fade away throughout the game.

There are also countless lines from the entire Mass Effect series.

I consider the 4th-wall breaking comments of Rucks in Bastion as one of my latest ones. Being narrated what you're doing as you play the game is nice. But being narrated of 4th-wall breaking actions I did is even better.

Obviously the Portal games are up there and Bioware games in general have a few witty lines strewn about.

Recently in League of Legends I was doing my usual routine whenever I play a new character of checking /dance /taunt /laugh /joke before minions spawn just because I like hearing random emotes.

I found Diana's /joke to be really funny... She has two and they are just awesome

"A man, a woman and a yordle walk into the sun... They die. Because it burns them alive? Ahahaha"



Since i've just got into playing Leona as well (dem chain stuns bro) her one joke made me laugh as well.

"I think I broke a nail... *takes a glove off to check* Good thing it wasn't mine."

Fallout: New Vegas can be really humorous at times, as well. ESPECIALLY the New World Blues DLC.

No More Heroes is equal parts awesome and hilarious. Same goes for Madworld.

Batman: Arkham Asylum, as previously stated, has got some great bits with the Joker.

Persona 4 has some particularly funny bits, in an anime sort of way.

The Katamari games have got a great sense of absurdist humor.

So true man, anytime you talk to the Think Tank is just the best, and when you talked to your own brain. I reloaded like at least 50 times just to see all the different dialogue I could.

Persona 4 is one of the funniest games I've ever played. I think a large part of this is the cast/voice acting. I also find No More Heroes and Shadows of the Damned funny. Then there's Paper Mario...

I think the best scene is when they do get all the members. Or maybe because orange made me spit my drink out the first time I heard him.

Ar Tonelico is also hilarious because of all the innuendos, though also spaghetti inducing. The girls battle cries sounds like I'm watching a porno. It was hilarious at first but then I changed it to Japanese in case anyone overheard it.

Also Persona 2 is making me laugh at the stupidest things, though I'll blame that on the webcomics I've read.

disgaea 2 also had a great ranger scene . even Disgaea 3 had a great one where the prism rangers lose their titles to the villains and gave rise to the Evil rangers who had the own intos.

The whole game is filled with funny moments, but my favorite was when Larry was trying to impress Charlotte the student activist with her Help the Monkeys campaign, Larry gives a empassioned speech to a crowd where he relates the plots of the movies Dunston Checks In, and Every Which Way But Loose.

OT: any Suda 51 game makes me laugh. Mass Effect 3 has very funny moments. For none scripted funny moments, I tend to have those on Red Dead Redemption, because the glitches are fucking awesome.
