in the first infamous, i was shotgunned through a wall falling to my death, annoying at first funny now.
I think this happened during that one mission with the train on top of a building (can't remember what it was called though). I was getting shot from all sides, and eventually gave up and just stood in one spot. I was taking so much damamge, that I died multpile times. Cole would die, and get up, just to die again. He couldn't do anything while up, he just started falling and got up when about to hit the floor. It happened about six times before he actually died, and the game let me play again.
Edit: One just happend right now, not as funny though. In RDR, I was looking for a wolf for a while, until I realized it was in the ground. Threw TNT on the ground above it, and that got the job done.

-In Fallout 2, a good pickpocket could steal a guard's rubber boots without him noticing.

-Nethack had a nice way to avoid a bug. I went down the stairs while transformed into a cave spider, and got a message "Wait a minute! Hiding under nothing? The game is becoming unstable, maybe you should save and restart?"

-In Dark Forces 2, you could disarm enemy StormTroopers without killing them. Apparently there were no plans what they would do after that, since they just posed idly, completely ignoring the player.

Yet another from Oblivion: In the beginning of the game, one of the kings guards is destined to die. I tried staying close to him, but ended up fighting an endless stream of assassins coming from the next room. On the other hand, when I ran directly into the other room, he died without a single assassin even appearing!

-When you hit an ally enough times, he will attack you. This also applies to NPC:s, and there have been quite a few incidents of guards fighting each other to the death because one missed a mudcrap one too many times. And when someone attacks a guard, he becomes the enemy of all the other guards, so at best I've seen a seven guard battle royale.
That happened to me once, every guard in the Market district was caught up in the massive brawl and they all died

This was a really odd thing that happened to me years ago when playing Star Fox Adventures on Gamecube.

I was on the industrial part of the planet, and after a gameplay-part (I think one of the railshooter segments) a cutscene was triggered. But instead of it playing out normally, I was still able to control Fox. He was kinda in place where was supposed to be in the cutscene, but I could get him do the attacking animation and such.

Then everything except Fox disappeared and I was left in a beige place with nothing but the character that controlled normally, I could run around and such, but there was nothing else.

My cousin was playing the game with me when this happened, and the "Dimension of cream" where you could end up if you fell through the world became an inside joke for us.

I'm assuming it had something to do with how the game used the in-game engine to render cutscenes but I just don't know much about it. I asked once on this forum what was going on there and if this happened in other games, but got no replies.

-I dont remember what game it was in, but unless you started a cutscene in exactly the right spot, your character walked off a bridge and died.

-In Red Faction Guerilla, your car can sometimes be rammed between enemies and buildings in a way that launched it like a several ton bullet. Unlike regular ground speeds, that makes you pierce buildings with nearly zero resistance.

Latest Dwarf Fortress dev logs have been as funny as before:

-The zombies in the necromancers tower started getting suspicious of the necromancers unnatural lifespan, forcing him to hide in the wilderness.

-While raising a dead arm worked well, talking to it made it introduce itself as a peasant, and while it was flattered of the players offer, it didn't currently have need for his services.

-The Movies creates randomly generated scripts, and they are all so random they make sense only by chance. Oddly enough, sometimes same actor seems to play multiple roles, even when all the characters are onscreen!

Some new ones:

In the original Deus Ex, one boss runs runs to activate an alarm switch in a room with arching electricity. If you shoot the switch, he gets confused and just stands there until the electricity slowly kills him.

While Sin was the first game to include separate damages for different bodyparts, it was still possible to shoot a running terrorist with rapid fire, straight through the head and painting a long messy streak along the walls.

A basic glitch from Silent Storm, but exeptionally funny nevertheless:

I was playing Aeon Flux for the PS2 and I was sneaking around in the Big Bad's Lair when a guard attacked me. I proceeded to kick face inside out and lo and behold, he flew off the edge of the platform we were on into a beam of energy. Said guard then proceeded to spaz out, flatten and elongate like some sort of breakdancing Slenderman, or one of those DRR DRR DRR things. (Cookie if you get the reference) It was so hilarious I nearly passed out from laughter but was sadly unable to reproduce said occurance.
