Therefore if you're not dutch then your statement of ''no other country did it'' is incorrect.
He's goal posting and full of shit as always. He's just another American that pretends to know everything, yet acts like he has the education Phoenix knows he doesn't have. So he gives himself his own personal degree without any actual official credits, diplomas, or certificates.
Those farmers will just have to switch over to H2-A visas, since Trump is actually doing the thing.
I don't feel bad for the farmers who wanted him power in the first place, and didn't learn their lesson the first time around. They deserve it.

I think he just doesn't count you guys as, you know, a "real" county. Or just ignorant that places other than the US did that. One of the two. Probably the latter, but him snubbing the Dutch is much funnier.

March 2021, 57 countries fully closed their schools, 95 had schools open with limitations, only 26 had schools fully open. Remainder we're lacking good info for.

Are you dutch? Because we closed our school. Therefore if you're not dutch then your statement of ''no other country did it'' is incorrect.

The way I heard it Sweden had a pretty significant death toll. So maybe having the virus run its course is good if you're a rich protected upper class guy who just wants the economy rolling again, but less so when you actually have to live your life in the real world with the plebs.
The Dutch closed their schools for 18 straight months? Nope, doesn't look like it because once the real science was done, every country followed suit except for the US.1749043365830.png

Sweden did arguably the best in Europe...

I hope the annoying myth that ''The left does NOTHING against migration but the right stops it!' dies the painful death it deserves. There simply aren't many, if any left wing parties that explicitly campaign on more migration so the talking point already dies at the literal first hurdle. Meanwhile giving power to the right seems to just make the migration problem worse. We wasted over a year giving Wilders completely free reign on migration and mister anti migration did nothing, his personally appointed minister did absolutely nothing and all attempt to solve migration related problems were sabotaged by the PVV. Abroad Brexit seems to have fixed nothing about migration, and Trump deliberately killed a migration bill just so he can campaign on it. Granted he does at least kidnap people for the crime of being a tad too brown.
It wasn't until the last administration until migration stopped being a bi-partisan issue. I don't know why the democrats keep wanting to die on hills that 80+% of the population is against. Seems like a bad way to win elections if you ask me.

So you've said, but then it turned out those "obvious exceptions" were just "when it's in favour of a white person and you think it's ok".

I don't know what point you think you're making, here. Studies are hard and take time, and so therefore it's fine for RFK to falsify data? What?

You just posted photoshops and didn't realise they were photoshops, because you're immensely gullible and susceptible to right-wing outrage bait.
Factions in a world that takes place before modern times are supposed to have a general common look to them regardless if they are white or not. For example, it wouldn't make sense to cast white people in Game of Thrones for characters of House Martell or for characters in Black Panther that are Wakandans.

What falsified data? Someone under him obviously used AI for the report. What about the obvious falsified data(?) or at least conclusion from that seed oil study you posted? Why do you only criticize one side and/or have completely different standards for each side?

They don't even have to be photoshops, more ridiculous things happened that I saw with my own 2 eyes. Hospital covid policy was to funnel everyone from doctors offices to the hospital, that made no fucking sense and actually made things much worse (though much easier for me and my job). Whereas kids wearing masks while playing instruments is just stupid looking and did no actual harm.

There were a lot of countries that closed schools.

And while it is still debated how good a decision that was and whether it should have happened sooner or later here or there or whether it was really needed in addition to vaccination, the idea that the US was the only one is so trivially disprovable that it really showcases that the anti-vaxxer cult does not care about facts at all.
What country closed schools for nearly the prolonged period of time as the US? I understand closing schools for few weeks to a month when covid just started or even for the rest of the semester (school year). But in Fall 2020, the US did not reopen schools when every other country did already.

I think he just doesn't count you guys as, you know, a "real" county. Or just ignorant that places other than the US did that. One of the two. Probably the latter, but him snubbing the Dutch is much funnier.

Denmark closed down schools?

Why would I (or anyone) care about schools being closed for a short period? The US closed schools for a YEAR AND A HALF, that was a MASSIVE public harm and you don't care about it because it's against your narrative to care about that.

OK, but you're not talking about pre-modern settings with ethnically homogeneous makeups. You're talking about things like mythical mermaids in modern day.

What falsified data? Someone under him obviously used AI for the report.
"Someone under him"? So you're suggesting he doesn't even read or contribute to the reports his own department is producing?

Some underling writes up a pile of falsified AI bullshit, RFK signs off on it without any awareness of what's in it, it becomes an official published report from a federal department... and that's supposed to be better?

They don't even have to be photoshops, more ridiculous things happened that I saw with my own 2 eyes.
I don't care about your effort to shift onto other things. You said everything you listed happened. That's patently false because you've been posting photoshops without realising it.

Why would I (or anyone) care about schools being closed for a short period?

Are we moving goal posts now? We were talking about closing schools. Not closing schools for exactly 18 months.

It wasn't until the last administration until migration stopped being a bi-partisan issue.
According to who'm? I recall your last administration creating a very strict anti migration bill that Republicans wanted to hear nothing about because it meant they couldn't campaign on migration if they allowed someone else to tackle it.

The numbers of deported people under Biden also doesn't seem as if some thoroughly soft and merciful course has been taken on the subject.

What you're saying is just an example of the usual frame. It doesn't matter at all what the left does or doesn't do about migration, nor does it matter what they do or don't say about it. At the end of the day the usual right wing spiel is always that the left does ''nOtHiNg about migration!''. Just as it doesn't matter that the right routinely blunders on migration. All that matters is that the right say they are the ONLY ones doing anything about migration.

Neither statement is ever effected by the words or deeds of either part of the political spectrum. Its just something the right keeps saying no matter what happens, and which for some reason they're allowed to get away with..

Same with the long standing belief that the right is ''responsible with finances'' despite this not holding up under any scrutiny. Most effective policy or areas of growth seem to occur under the left while right wing governments have wrecked up quite a number of embarrassing and completely irrational failures.

To follow up on this: according to a Unicef report in Sept 2021, there were 11 countries in which most pupils lost at least 3/4 of their in-person learning over the prior 18 months. The most significant losses of learning time were in Bangladesh, the Philippines and Panama.

The US is not one of the 11. Because although many schools stayed closed into 2021, there was a high level of variance in how schools responded and when. Some were opening to in-person learning in 2020.

obviously not funny, if anyone still taking title literally at this point. quite disturbing, even with joke of the texan police

Immediately ruled to not be a hate crime, because somehow people shouting threats and slurs at them for a long time, threatening to burn down their home, killing their pets, actually burning down their home, putting the skull of one of their dogs on display at the site of their former home, and then coming out, shouting slurs at them and shooting him when they come back to check the mail, all because they're gay somehow does not involve any hate crimes.

Just waiting for someone on social media to claim the shooting was done in self defense. Somehow.

The only President in recent history to actually balance the Federal budget (and actually run surpluses):

(Meanwhile, here in the bad future, the CBO says that Trump's "big beautiful bill" will increase the national debt by $2.4 trillion.)

Just waiting for someone on social media to claim the shooting was done in self defense. Somehow.
"I was terrified that one of them homosexers would flirt with me, and that made my hand twitch in a way that I involuntarily drew my gun and shot them seventeen times, reloaded and then shot them three more times."

"Not guilty."

Trump's administration wants to deport the suspect in the attack in Boulder, Colorado... and his entire family.

I'm sure Christians will be thrilled that we're getting back to the Biblical "sins of the father" mindset again. That four-year-old is obviously a terrorist or they'd have dropped a dime on Papa.

You're suggesting the opposite though. His family is Egyptian citizens and he's in the country on an expired visa, according to the article you posted. Pretty safe to say he and his family who came together share the same immigration status. If that status was brought to legal authorities by any means, regardless of the father's actions, deportation would be on the table, but now you think it shouldn't be specifically because he set people on fire. What nonsense backwards logic is that?

The US right has typically chafed at hate laws of any sort. It's not a surprise that they would move to ignore them wherever possible.

That was in regards to Snow White and all the guards within like 5 seconds covering like every single race (it just sticks out like a sore thumb because you know that's just not how a society existed). If the setting was say modern day Chicago, then that wouldn't look out of place. Ariel is an iconic character, why would you change an iconic character? Just like you wouldn't race swap Blade, you wouldn't do it for Ariel either. If you're making some other mermaid movie, then nobody would care. Even if you're making a movie in the same universe as the Little Mermaid with another character other than Ariel, nobody would care.

You think the head of the health department is writing their own department's reports?

Bad faith arguments, just deflecting... You can't even admit people doing stupid crazy shit is stupid and crazy (because your team did it).

Because, though I guess it is contrary to all evidence, you'd like to be seen as a serious person and not someone who makes unfounded accusations and the move the goalposts when your statements are proven untrue?
Literally nobody cared about schools being closed for a short while. People cared when they were closed for a year and a half for no reason. Just because I don't type out every single detail of something doesn't mean I've moving goalposts.

You simply have no defense to the massive harm of closing schools for so long and the US was the only country to have done it. All you lefties SHOULD be super in agreement because it's hitting all your important buttons. Basically all the kids and families effected by the school closures were underprivileged as all the rich families had their kids in private schools and those schools didn't close. This is a policy that caused massive inequality (the thing ya'll just hate so much) and you're all defending it. You have no core principles.

Are we moving goal posts now? We were talking about closing schools. Not closing schools for exactly 18 months.

Obama deported more people than Trump did in both of his separate terms. Obama also gave a very similar speech/rhetoric as Trump.

Yes, well-off people had their well-off kids in schools that weren't closed. Also, red states kept schools open.

A recent column seems to have summed up the last few Dutch years pretty well.

''I don't know if anyone from abroad is listening but this is a cry for help. We are being held hostage, we're about 18 million people. From the outside there seems to be little going on, but we can't go anywhere because a small group of dangerous idiots have been holding us hostage for years. So far they let us live but on one deadly tiring condition that we keep talking about asylum seekers no matter what we try, no matter how often we raise the problems that are really eating away at the country it doesn't matter, it has to and will be about asylum seekers.

Wars and pandemics can break out, the pope can die, Swiss mountain villages can be buried under crumbling mountains, the climate can go out of control, families with children can live in garage boxes because of the housing shortage and a meteorite can hurtle towards the earth at a terrifying speed. They just don't care.

We have slowly become just as obsessed as our hostage takers, due to the years of monotonous pounding on our brains. There are a lot of these hostage takers by the way, but the most prominent is a rather inflammable guy with white hair and a southern accent, unsavory ideas, fascist friends, a Hungarian wife and a Russian sugar daddy. He's a fan of the Efteling and ethnic cleansing but beyond that we know little about him because he can only talk about asylum seekers. The longer we try to talk about something else the angrier he gets with the result that yesterday he blew up the cabinet of that prime minister who was so colorless even for a Dutch prime minister that his name has already been forgotten.

The other kidnapper has taken the country's second largest party hostage. She's a somewhat lisping woman with the diction of a
kindergarten teacher but the speeches of a deranged junta general, which is a quite confusing combination. She has blown up the previous cabinet because of thousands of asylum seekers who later turned out not to exist and has of course got away with it because it was about asylum seekers and then the facts no longer matter. Blow up a cabinet because of the gnomes living in the river near the Binnenhof, and the country will turn its back on you but invent a few refugees and you will come in a neat second place in the election.

This is a cry for help! We want to move on but we are stuck, and they are robbing our treasury, are forcing us to spend loads of money on pointless border controls, on expensive ways to block migrants, and on hopeless legal processes. Meanwhile we must cut cost on all important matters that we care about and needs doing.

Send the Canadians to liberate us, pay the kidnappers their ransom money, give us the means to give that white haired man a job in Hungary as a parking attendant, or if there really is no other way...then for gods sake grant us asylum.''

Right, so another fictional setting, not a real pre-modern ethnically homogeneous setting.

You think the head of the health department is writing their own department's reports?
I think he should be aware of the contents of reports his own department is publishing. That's like below bare minimum for the role-- the kind of thing that would be utterly unacceptable in any mid-sized company.

Bad faith arguments, just deflecting... You can't even admit people doing stupid crazy shit is stupid and crazy (because your team did it).
Phoenix, I'm very sorry you reposted photoshops without realising, but it's really not anyone else's fault. Just use a little critical thinking next time.
