Valiro had managed to clamp himself to a rail and as such was relatively unharmed, he detached from the rail and climbed out of the tram, he hooked his powerful arms under Mogliss's armpits and pulled him upright and then propped him against a wall to stand him up.

"Are you alright? Anything broken?" asked Valiro.

"There were too many for me to count. Are you alright Justice, you seem to have gotten pretty banged up from the crash. If you are we should find something to bandage you and the others up before we move on." Cyrus said, looking at Justice who was clutching her side as if she was wounded pretty bad.

Cyrus motioned for her to sit down on one of the flatter rocks while he went over to the wreckage and started sifting through it to look for the rest of Squad A.

The only clear way forward seemed to be through a hole in the wall near the mining suit it appeared as if the mining suit had broken through before freezing and trapping the unfortunate soul manning it, inside. Emanating from the large hole in the wall the teams can see ice and a blue light.

"don' worry, I'm fine..." wheezed mogliss. "I'm just not used to having grenades explode in my face. But I think I'm okay, the suit took most of the blast. This is a good suit, fine piece of technology...." he nodded to himself. "don't worry, though. If I had broken limbs, they'd grow back in a few days, provided they're still attached....'ne way, bro. Just a bad leg. I'll be fine."

Kryus clawed his way out of a pile of rocks, and looked around, hearing cyrus asking for a Squad A rollcall. "Kryus here!" He shouted, knowing to obey the orders of his NCO. He ducked back down, and looked around for his rifle, noting that his knife was still in its holster.
Eventually, Kryus found his rifle in a pile of boulders almost 30 feet away, dusted it down, and reloaded. Walking to the hole in the wall, he peered through, using the scope to get a better view...

Valiro gives an approving nod and straightens up, "good man."

He then scans around him, seeing the destroyed entrance and the wall hole, he then strides to the hole and gazes into the depths, seeing no immediate threat, he pulls out some loose chunks from the hole edges and pushes through after motioning for his squad to follow suit.

"I'll take point, I can soak up a few hits if necessary," his voice softly echoed.

Lazarus had used his bare hands to stick to the heater on the side of the tram which kept him from being thrown around. The moment the tram stopped he pulled the gloves of the thermal suit on quickly withdrawing his hands from the heater which promptly froze solid. He remained in the wreckage waiting for the team to move ahead. He used sonar clicks to check the tunnel through one of the tram windows and detected nothing. Whatever was causing the glow was either nonreal or out of range.

When Kryus looked inside he saw a large open room. The room had tiered steps leading up to a large alter with a floating blue crystal that the climate seemed to be based around on. Around the room their was multiple statues and holes in the wall. The crystal gave off a strange blue glow.

Dal's could see into the drilling suit where a frozen dead man was clutching a Data Codex. Upon further examination it seemed that the drilling suit had frozen up once it had penetrated the wall.

Pagos was staring from down the tunnel they came from, 'we should have stayed and fought, well have to fight them sometime why not then and there' Pagos said then he ran one of his fingers through the blood on the helmet and wrote a tally of 1 on his chest plate 'We'll know how many there were once their dead as well'. Pagos then made his way through the hole in the wall, when he saw the crystal he knew he was looking at a great weapon 'I can fell it's power' he muttered to himself.

Valiro began looking around at the statues, amazed by their alien carvings, 'Who created these, and why?' he pondered.

He then snapped out of his deep thought and turned to both Squads. "Who's carrying the case?" Valiro asked.

Once we leave the cave/contain the crystal can I take off the retardoarmour? or will the effects of the crystal follow us out?

Mogliss pushed himself off the wall and followed Valiro to the room containing the crystal. "It's Beautiful!" he squealed. He hopped closer to the crystal and stopped at about 6 feet away. "I'll gladly carry this beauty..." he assured: "I'm good at running, in case they try to take it from us." but he remembered his aquired limp. "I know I'm hurt, but it'll give you reason not to abandon me."

Yes gecko, when you leave the shrine you can take off the armor. Also everyone, please note that the person who comes within close contact with the crystal in order to store it will have some, unique things happen to them, so choose carefully.

The illustrations on the wall seem to depict an alien race building a whole underground temple around this crystal, apparently this whole valley was formed by a larger crystal crashing down, it also appears that the larger crystal caused an ice age for the whole continent. It also mentions "Timeless Guardians" That shall protect the crystal, these beings seem to be some kind of animal with razor sharp claws and teeth, Fascinating

It has been a slow process but, twelve drill bits later it seems that I have punctured the wall, I will open the crack tomorrow.

The wall cracked open in the middle of the night, the suits gears and latches are frozen, I am trapped. I can either try to get out of the suit and run to the heated tram or wait for rescue, surely I can not survive out there so I will wait for rescue

Valiro feels mesmerised by the crystal, it almost feels like a cold aura reaching into him and sending tingling feelings up and down his Exo-Form. He begins to feel a little desire to touch it.

"One of the Squad Leaders should get the crystal so that we don't endanger our squad members." Cyrus said to the others, climbing through the hole into the room that the crystal lay. He looked around to see who carried the box that they would need to put the crystal in.
