Took what I thought was a headache pill, blacked out, came to 4 hours later, went to my e-mail inbox, recieved a reply from a once dear friend I was hoping to make up with, read the e-mail I sent while blacked out, screamed in horror.

I'll never forgive myself for that, I really, really cared for her, and was really hoping to make up with her and become friends again. The e-mail I sent eradicated any chances I might have had for reconciliation.

What was the pill, in the end?

OT: Every time Oblivion crashes, or on Singularity,(I scare easily in games)when you first see a Zek prowling around the distance, or Barisov/Kathryn hinting that the next area has some real bitches in it.

So, I was playing for about a few hours and I'd forgot to save.

I went to save and the power goes out........

-_- What the hell, man?!
That happened to me... but during a frickin' hurricane!
So, there I was, minding my own business kickin' some ass in Borderlands, finishing more than half the games, achievements and the special, little in-game milestones when I leveled up a couple times.
I was waiting for the game to finish saving and... lightning bolts took out the power across the city, completely corrupting the save file.
I have still not re-started the game.

Gaming: Playing wow and having to work with 24 other people that don't know what the fuck they are doing and don't even pay fucking attention when i tell them what to do (which is usually about everything).

Non Gaming: I get such a moment everytime i look out of the window and realize in what a world i am living in. Only way not to kill myself is to go scubadiving in a lake at least 60 meters deep. Everything is irrelevant in the cold dark void down there.

Playing Persona 3 FES, trying to level grind before the next full moon...been going through the levels in two blocks for about two hours, clearing them out before going to the next level, and not saving because I want to work myself up to harder enemies (therefore I can't leave the level I'm on to save, or I start at the bottom of the block again because of where the transporters are located.)
About halfway through clearing out a level, Mitsuru mentions that she feels something "bad"...then she says that Death is coming, just after I clear out the last monster. So I book it to the other side of the level, where the stairs are - no Death in sight.
I'm literally ONE HALLWAY away from the stairs to the next level. Who comes around the corner?
Death.
Unavoidable fight. TWO HOURS of level grinding gone, as well as TWO new Personas and a bunch of new weapons.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Seriously though, re-level grinding in that game after something like that is the most painful experience ever..
Hoo boy I hate that.

Resident Evil 0. About an hour or two of gameplay without saving (because, y'know, Ink RIbbons (who's ****in' idea was that anyways?)) and about to save when "An error has occured, please switch off the power and refer to instruction booklet"

Oy, this is gonna be a fun playthrough of the entire resi series...

There was this one time in Fallout3. It was when you are fighting to the GNR building the first time. I was pretty low level when I did this so when I played through it,so when I finally cleared out all the super mutants I saved right then and there with next to no health. But seconds later I found out there was a burning car directly behind me. So as soon as I saved the car blew up, and I was essentially trapped in a loop of reloading and dieing. Also my only other save was hours back. So about 4hrs of my time wasted simply because I saved in the wrong spot.
In the first Call of Duty game I saved with a bullet about 1 inch away from my chest, when I was on almost no health. So I entirely sympathise.

Other FUUUUUU moments- every moment in minecraft. Falling off my own tower, dying in lava with great items, creeper explosion on your own building, noticing a swarm of those BLOODY creepers coming right at you, destroying the block you are standing on above a river of lava, destroying the block above you UNDER a river of lava, spending three hours clearing out a horrible labyrinth cave system only to find out there is another whole cave system right above that one full of shambling horrors. All these situations end up with me going FUUUUUUUAAAAAAaaakkkkkkk.

Any game where it tells me to do something and I can't find it.

Dragon age: Origins is the culprit of late. 20 minutes of walking and it becomes "DUNCAN'S QUARTERS DON'T EXIST! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

I'm sure they do, but damned if I can find them with that wanky map with a non-HDTV.

Saving over my Tales of Vesperia file that I had set up for grade farming and using for a good EX New game with my file I started to get the Beat Barbatos under Level 15. 70 hours down the fucking drain.

Also in P3 FES not uncharming Ken in the Nyx battle, she's about one turn away from beating her and Ken uses Diaharan.Oddly enough I ended up beating her anyway just took longer because of the fuck up.

My "FUUUUUUCK" moment of today is glancing over the other hot topic of today, aka "Saddest Fictional Deaths" and getting 2 games spoiled for me because idiots don't know how to use spoiler boxes

Any time I loose alot of progress from not saving. It's that kind of moment that makes you rage quit no matter how good the game is.

In NHL 11, if you ever leave a match, or if the EA servers shut down while you're playing, it fucks up your game permanently. It happens quite often.

I can think of 2 things.

In Fallout 3 just finishing The pitt . I go back into a house to deliver a teddybear when the game crashes and outsave gets corrupted. The last save was 2 hours before (fuck have to do that battle AGAIN). Haven't touched the game since (that was just after the DLC got released.

In Lost oddessey, just a bit after midnight (workday the next day). After finally beating a very annoying boss (took me 3 times and i kind of cheated). I went a bit exploring run into another boss fight (also finding out i forgot to heal after the previous one). Getting my ass kicked and then the respawn point is before the boss i had so much difficulty with.
