was playing Splinter Cell conviction infiltration mode. Kill all the guys, rolled under a trip laser right into a cameras view, and the worst part, the cam was only there cause i did not think it was any threat earlier. After that i started 2 yell obscenity's (after a long drawn out F word) and my friend preceded to point and laugh at me....

I recently overwrote an awesome F3 profile with one where I was at level 10. I literally had every unique gun at full repair status, and I was level 30 and had all the stats maxed out to 100. AND I had discovered every map marker. 300 hours of my life down the drain.

I have this reaction whenever I die and realize that I saved about two hours ago. It's often enough to make me stop playing altogether.

Recently while playing Dead Rising 2, I got in a fight with one of the psychos (The bathroom one) with two bits of health and no food or decent weapons.
I got into this fight because I realized I hadn't save in about an hour and a half and all I saw on the map was a save point.
Throughout the whole pre-fight cutscene all I thought was "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK I'm gonna die"
And die I did.
I ended up restarting the game because I gained like 3-4 levels between my death and last save.

Playing Persona 3 FES, trying to level grind before the next full moon...been going through the levels in two blocks for about two hours, clearing them out before going to the next level, and not saving because I want to work myself up to harder enemies (therefore I can't leave the level I'm on to save, or I start at the bottom of the block again because of where the transporters are located.)
About halfway through clearing out a level, Mitsuru mentions that she feels something "bad"...then she says that Death is coming, just after I clear out the last monster. So I book it to the other side of the level, where the stairs are - no Death in sight.
I'm literally ONE HALLWAY away from the stairs to the next level. Who comes around the corner?
Death.
Unavoidable fight. TWO HOURS of level grinding gone, as well as TWO new Personas and a bunch of new weapons.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Seriously though, re-level grinding in that game after something like that is the most painful experience ever..

Was playing a nice RPG called Arc the Lad 2.

Had some real fun times with that game. What surprised me the most was how long the game was, as the enemies in the final dungeon were at level 130 or so. Yes, both your characters and the bad guys went beyond level 100 in the Main Story. Thought it was really cool.

Though it wasn't cool when I came back a week later to find that my save file was corrupted. Haven't touched the game in about 9 years or so. Still brings a tear to my eye.

The other day I was watering some tree outside my house and I received a text message. Pulled my phone out, hit the hose flew out of my hand, and landed in a HUGE puddle of water. I actually stayed there for a good few seconds wondering if I had really just done that.
Worked fine after I let it dry out all day but damn I nearly cried..

Because last week, I was on a safari thing, and my ipod&headphones were in my pocket (I had forgotten about them).

So maybe half an hour into the ride, I look down and notice my headphone cable sticking out of my pocket, the ipod wasn't attached to it....

I got so used to reloading after dying in Fallout tactics that when i went to load after dying i accidentaly pressed save and saved as a dead body. I got a sniper and everything....i was so pissed off. And when my save data in fallout 2 got corrupted after getting all the way to the Enclave base and freeing the deathclaw and getting the robo dog.
