We all know how the song and the dance goes with these fools at this point. Even when this original Switch launched, there were a bunch of these idiots going on about how they're not gonna bother with it, if it fails or doesn't live up to whatever flimsy expectations they have. Bitches like them, I always have one ignore for a reason. They don't know when to shut up.
Gamers and influencers are on the whole among the most spineless and unprincipled consumers out there. No surprise the two together makes for a dastardly combo.
The thing is that they didn't need to make videos shaking their fist at Nintendo. They could've just said 'oh cool, the Switch 2 got revealed' or just not said anything, and then bought it. Instead they capitalized on the outrage by making videos on it and how 'yeah, fuck you Nintendo, BOOO' racking in views... only to then buy it anyway. Though we all knew that Arlo guy was gonna buy one anyway - I didn't buy his criticism post reveal for a second.
Speaking of shills, it's been mildly amusing watching the difference in reception to that Welcome Tour paid tech demo between the Nintendo-centric channels and then everyone else. Such desperation at trying to convince people it's "actually pretty fun" and "worth it for fans, or just if you're curious"
Christ, the bullshit Western players had to go through playing the original without any save files. Why did Nintendo remove them for passwords, outside of Japan? I am actually glad I never played this game as a kid.
