I don't know if it's really terribly related to games (although it ties in heavily with Red Dead Redemption), but I've always kind of wished that duster coats were still worn and that i could pull one off. Then I realize that I would look really, really silly (and anachronistic and otherwise absurd) and decide to not wear dusters.

I forgot about that, I want that one. Ezio's is okay but it seems a little more stylish and less sinister. I'll forgive the red on a stealthy man's uniform since he's already dressed in bright white...

I was playing AC2 with a friend of mine watching today, and I was making a list to her on why I thought the first game was superior to the second. The crowning piece of my argument was the fact that Ezio's outfit was so ceremonial compared to Altair's, it wasn't something designed for being stealthy and was a dead give away for anyone looking for him. It was too frilly and colorful!

To which my friend pointed out, it was 15th century Italy, EVERYONE was wearing frilly, overly complicated clothing. Ezio would stand out if he wasn't wearing the ceremonial outfit. Fridge Brilliance? [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FridgeBrilliance]

Say whatever you want about Force Unleashed and its protagonist, but this:
