Game characters that have the same name as you?

Yesterday I picked up Deus Ex: Human Revoloution and something happened that I had never experienced before in a video game. A character with the same name as mine was mentioned. This had never happened to me before and I have to admit that I found it unusual to find the name Declan in a Canadian game.

So Escapists, this got me thinking, do any of you share a name with any video game characters?

Playing Resident Evil 5 online was such a pain. Sheva would get to the door and start hollering "C'mon! Chris! Hurry! C'mon! Hurry! C'mon! Chris! Chris!" And I'd just turn the game off. That and it was boring... Ha ha.

I don't think I've played a game with a character named Mark. Not in the genre's I usually play, anyway. How many people in Thedas or ancient greece or japan are named Mark?

Unless there was a To Kill A Mockingbird game [small](which I pray to god doesn't and will not exist)[/small], there is no game with anyone named Atticus.

No, and it's weird because Matt is a fairly common name. I have five friends called Matt but no video game characters. Unless you count the first character I rolled in Dragon Age.

Diablo 2 a character by name of Marius.

He is a pretty weak character, that follows the dark wanderer and then get murdered in an Asylum by the lord of destruction. I don't really care that he is pathetic, it's still an honour.

There's a Picnicker Kim in Pokemon GSC. That's the only one I've personally come across that springs to mind immediately but only because I'm playing HeartGold right now.

I've seen one. It was a game called (I think) Circle of Doom, and had a character anmes Duane. He had an eyepatch, a beard, and he used guns. He was fun to play as.

There was that game Unskippable did an episode for a little while back, where the antagonist was called Lloyd Irving. -_- They just had give him that lame second name, didn't they? I know nothing about the game or the character outside of the five minutes of cutscene footage I saw.

I'm not entirely sure what he is either.

As for me, I'm another of the Chris crowd. So yeah, ol' Redfield an' me got the same name goin' on.
You'd think that when I play Resident Evil 5 with friends, it'd give me a free pass to be Chris. But apparently it's a good thing that I don't mind Sheva as much as most people.
