Azure Kite of .hack//G.U.

He's a soul-less, zombie-like mockery of the protagonist of the original .hack games, accused of murdering the current protagonist's girlfriend, screwing you over at the worst possible times.

But I had an overwhelming urge to give him a great big hug whenever he was onscreen.

Morrigan?

Uh and Fargoth(sp?) from Morrowind I believe was actually pretty funny after awhile.

Andrew Ryan. At least, I think your supposed to hate him. I did until the very end.
I liked Ryan initially. He may have been a nut, but at least originally he seemed to have decent ideas. One could argue that if you didn't like his politics, you could just stay out of Rapture. Then he started the whole "killing- and- arresting- anyone- who's- not- objectivist- enough- or- who- I- just- don't- like" thing. I still don't think you're supposed to agree with his initial motivations (before the corruption thing) as much as I did.

Alex Wesker is probably the guy that I most love even though I'm supposed to hate him. Something about being both increadibly intellegent, strong, and badass makes him more appealing.
Are you talking about Albert Wesker, of Resident Evil fame?

Morrigan?
Actually I think the DragonAge writers want you to LOVE Morrigan, just... pretty much no one does.
Hah well then I did what Bioware wanted me too :D

I can't totally see where all the hate comes from, shes basically like Miranda (personality wise) in some ways incredibly isolated from the concept of a normal person. But yes alot of people seem to hate her :|

Every angsty, emo-sonavabitch that JRPGs throw me as main characters. I love angst, it's actually quite cool.
Also, I do enjoy the nameless soldiers that run with you as cover that only get in the way of your gun from time-to-time. They take bullets for you.

dude, was Hack a good series? I've read about it and it looks interesting but I can't find anyone I trust who likes the thing. It's gotten no awards, isn't on any top thing lists, and has a nice big collective 6.5 rating as a whole.

I'll go with Bowser. He's so cuddly ^_^

Also this may be a tad obscure but Vile from the Mega Man X series. I always thought he was so bad ass.

OT: Claptrap and Scooter in Borderlands. Everyone goes on about how they're ear-drillingly annoying, but i just find Claptrap's silly dance moves and Scooter's idiotic accent amusing.
I don't like Claptrap, but Scooter is my favorite character from Borderlands. I didn't know everyone else hated him... I find his stories about his "momma's girl parts" rather amusing, his accent just adds to it.

Sorceress Edea from FFVIII also comes to mind. I don't particularly love her but I think that she makes for a good villain because of the mystery surrounding her that you slowly piece together throughout the game.

Cait Sith.

Okay I lied. One that comes to mind is Lawrence from Ratchet and Clank 3 but seeing as how he may not have been
percieved as necessarily evil as per his reluctance to follow Dr. Nefarious' orders, and how none of you actually know
what the fuck I'm talking about, the award goes to...

Sander Cohen from the Bioshock series, because, while he had you kill off multiple people, all of them were evil and he
did it in the pursuit of art. Also, the piano overtone that played once you completed Cohen's Masterpiece was outstanding.
