Silliness aside, what is the most recent game that you have added to your beaten belt? Was there any troubles with it? Any times where you wanted to consult a walkthrough, and did you? What was the hardest part?

For me, it was Uncharted 1, and it was definitely the part when

The last game I beat was Dragon Age: Origins, for the sixth time =D. But between my many beatings of this game was Halo: Reach as the most recent.

Reach, it was fun and no problems. I don't consult walkthroughs unless the developers boffed up the level design so much that it breaks the immersion cause there are no clues as to what to do next or there are so many god damned items you need to get that impact game play and you'd never find them without a guide. Basically poor level design and game planning cause me to grab a guide or walkthrough.

I don't think I've beaten anything major since Mass Effect 2 on insanity back in August. Unless you count Westlondon on suicidal in Killing Floor.

My last completion was Metro 2033. It was alright, but nothing special, which was a letdown as I really enjoyed the book. I'd recommend it for about $20.

Currently playing Singularity and Majora's Mask (for like, the 20th time), so hopefully those will be added to my list soon.

I beat Reach recently, and Resident Evil 5 on the same day. Both were pretty good. Never had to consult a walkthrough. I'm currently going back through RE5 with infinite ammo on my favorite guns and feeling like god of the African zombies trying to smite them all.

On my old Xbox account I beat Tenchu Z outright.
On my current account I'm practically on the verge of doing it again.
Shadow Complex took a while to get full achievements on because the last thing I had left to do was hit level 50, that took a loooooooot of killing... Beating it with no more than 13% items was a piece of cake so long as you remembered to NOT pick up that one damn gold bar that was in the way...
I also beat Hydrophobia, that was fairly fun, don't have full achievements yet though..

Looking forward to F:NV and Vanquish next week. I think those are the two coming out.

I just beat FFX for the first time (catching up lost time). I used a walkthrough for the sidequests (i.e. Celestial Weapons). I try to use walkthroughs only for complex sidequests (how else would I have known I had to dodge 200 lightning bolts consecutively?) or when I've been running in circles for hours and start to lose patience. Currently playing FFVII.

I haven't been playing many 'beatable' games lately, Mostly TF2. But the last one I beat was Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. EPIC. The ending really felt like a victory. The setting and story were awesome, lots of truly memorable characters. And it was a subtle thing, but little things were connected, for example in an address book you find the name of a guy from a completely unrelated side quest, it just made it feel more real.

Dead Rising 2. The last boss wouldn't have been so hard had he fought fair. Take away all my weapons and make me have protect someone while fighting you? Oh I died and had to redo an hour of gameplay my first try too.
