......it was not imitating soft-core porn. It was imitating a video that you have not seen and assume that it was soft-core porn because you have not seen said video.Bakaferret said:Hahaha...I'm not taking it seriously...you seem to be though. I'm just stating facts. I'd love to see the office that you work in where a transvestite taking of his/her clothes and askinig "Do you wanna hump me?" isn't soft porn. Again, I'm NOT saying I hate it. I never did. I'm just calling it as I see it. I'm not talking about the whole series. Just one part in this one episode. I mean seriously, I would think even the creator of the video would say it was imitating soft porn. That was the JOKE.Pantherman said:You act as if this were to be taken seriously as life itself, it's a cartoon. A simple cartoon that you have the right not to like, however calling "soft porn"??? Really? My former bosses would LOVE to have a word with you about what is and isn't porn then, they could've made ALLOT more money than they did.Bakaferret said:You are getting WAY too defensive over this cartoon. All of those things are there...are you just ignorantly choosing to ignore it?
The very last scene of the episode involved the character looking at pornography. The undressing of the character at the end is like softcore bestiality. There is LITERALLY a furry transvestite in the video! Were we not watching the same thing?? The booth ***** was a transvestite!
That being said, I find none of these things offensive. Those parts were actually pretty funny (if not mildly disturbing...although even if they WEREN'T dogs I'd find it mildly disturbing). I'd be willing to listen to your argument if it made any sense. It's like you didn't even watch this video...your argument is COMPLETELY valid for any of the other GameDogs episode. Except this one.
There's a trope for that [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OverlyLongGag].Jim Grim said:Y'know sometimes stretching out a joke can actually make it funnier.
This wasn't one of those times.
Bakaferret said:"Just as furry as loony tunes"? Which loony tunes episode were you watching as a kid where they sniffed each others butts for an uncomfortable amount of time and had one of the characters watching what essentially equates to porn? Before this episode I would have agreed with you since it was fairly tame to begin with...and before this episode, it wasn't the least bit furry...but once you throw sex into the mix, random anthropomorphism turns furry, IMO.Pantherman said:This, this was funny. Not the greatest, but not the worst of the episodes either. This is just as furry as the loony tunes that virtually everyone watched as a kid so i don't see why people are getting up in a tiff about it.

I can understand that you may not have gotten around to watching Silence of the Lambs. I can understand not immediately getting the reference when you watched it. But did you... Miss the dozens of people in the comments talking about how much they liked the Buffalo Bill thing at the end? Or the video someone posted of when Clerks II did it? Because I'm not sure how you could understand the reference, and still compare it to "softcore porn", when it's... Y'know, not. At no point was it ever. It was imitating a horror movie. And not one of those teen horror movies with pointless nudity and sex jokes.Bakaferret said:Hahaha...I'm not taking it seriously...you seem to be though. I'm just stating facts. Moreso than Buffalo Bill himself? Really? Seems like a really strange thing to be offended by. I mean, sure, you could probably find someone, but that's true of anything - I doubt most cross-gender people would get offended by a SotL reference. When you think of Buffalo Bill, you think "it puts the lotion on its skin", not "crazy fictional character who kills people as a direct result of being a transvestite and therefore all transgender people are ticking time bombs by relation". I wouldn't worry about it.FiveHitcombo said:Not being a transvestite/sexual/gender person nor being affiliated with any, I could see this being extremely offensive to any of said people. Putting a transvestite character in the same shoes as a psychotic, deranged, and anti-social serial killer like Buffalo Bill's shoes is the same, to me at least, as putting a modern stereotypical German in a Nazi uniform and immitating stock footage of him acting out atrocities in Auschwitz because that's the only thing you think of when associating that character with his cultural background.
