It's unfortunate that a lot of people aren't getting this show. Maybe it needs more genetalia jokes for these people. Or maybe they just need to sit down and plug into "Pirates of Silicon Valley"
Hopefully it is the latter of the two or all hope in humanity is lost...
Didn't know you could see us from up there.
Didn't much like Mr. Yee. His absent mindedness was an ok joke, albeit old, but it got milked dry. Absolutely every line he had was him being confused. This might turn out decent, once the writer(s) get past introducing the characters, and flesh them out a bit.

I do not get this show at all. I have a hard telling teling what the jokes are and what is just plain dialog and exposition. The poor memeory gags escaped me. I would suggest a laugh track to help us know what is supopsed to be funny.

On the positive side, I do like the long tie sight gag. Everything else, not so much

Edit: anyone else reminded of codemonkeys.
Yes, this does remind me a tad of Code Monkeys. However, Code Monkeys actually had jokes, so I think it's safe to say it's the superior game designer show.

I really don't want to hate this show. It just forces me to.

The most enjoyable part of this show was the popcorn I was eating.
Same, except with buns with sausages.

Results are back from the Firing range! Here are your results so far.

5 (Episode 1)
2 (Episode 2)
8 (Episode 3)

You have two more shots! Try to get an average of 7!

And if you do, you will have one extra dedicated viewer.
On a scale from 1-10, 1 being a documentary movie about Scientology, 10 being Hugh Laurie at his best...

Episode 1 - (3)
Episode 2 - (6)
Episode 3 - (2)

I briefly smiled... somewhere... or maybe it was a muscle spasm. Or it was chocolate I ate 3 hours ago.

Seriously, what was here to laugh about? I already saw that kind of "boss" somewhere... Mr. Burns when he's not being evil. And Gary is one of the Yes Man, also in the Simpsons, the episode where Burns loses all his money and has to recycle stuff to regain his fortune.

Gary's not funny and loud, he's just loud and annoying. Idea dog's (...don't even remember his name) idea was, again, repeated with Mario instead of Link. Wasn't funny before, isn't fun now. Oh, and yeah, Satan + Antarctica is really original... I think Diablo 2 had it already. They even made a wallpaper with Diablo trying to cool himself after the Hell froze over.

Time to send these dogs to the glue factory...
You're thinking of horse there, fella. I believe the correct animal-related cliche that you were looking for is "It's time to put these dogs down!"
Ow! My fingers! It hurt so much to type that!
DOn't believe I'm even arguing this but:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=glue%20factory
I don't believe that you quoted Urban Dictionary to make a point!
I'm joking, of course. I know that, like gelatin, you can use any animal for base components. It just plays to the cartoon stereotype better to use horses than dogs. Then again, stereotypes probably should stay far away from Game Dogs. Those things are worse for this kind of show than rabies are for just about every animal but sharks....hmm. Game Sharks...no. If it would turn out like Street Sharks, that would be unforgivable. Forget that I mentioned that!

Its not wonderful, but i dont think it's as bad as many people think. It's pretty funny, just in a different way. Unskippable for example, i thought it was meh at first but after about 6 episodes, I started to like it and it grew on me.

I think this just needs a little time to sink in for it to start getting good. Good luck Game Dogs!

..... I actually giggled.

Still, the episode dragged on for way too long and lost its funny rather fast.

Not many chances left now
It never had it, Hub.

This show isn't for me but I love the other new show. Thank god both came out.

Hmmm.

I know the creators must hate reading bad reviews of their work, but without criticism they won't know what the problem is or how to fix it. So with that in mind...

I didn't smile in this episode either. :( I don't think that a small number of subtle word-play jokes are enough to retain interest for this style of animated series. Not for me anyway... to improve it, I'd suggest:

- More jokes.
- More slapstick/juvenile jokes.
- More interesting/quirky characters & voices.

As is stands, it seems to be a poor Dilbert-relation thats been jazzed up by turning all the people into dogs. In theory it's easier to characterise the characters when they're dogs (which is probably why it was done in the first place), but even so they don't seem to have much character.

I have nothing against the jerky dog animations, but it doesn't match the style of humour used in these videos and I think this mismatch is what it putting off a lot of viewers. :eek:/

Really sorry guys, I don't like to sound negative. I think I'll skip the next few and try again later to see if the style has changed at all. Good luck with it!

Best regards,
I agree entirely with this fellow's constructive criticism.
I don't know why I even bother. It feels like they are not even attempting proper jokes.

I'm in agreement with this, although I'll admit I gave up after 2 minutes of watching it (i.e. 2 minutes after the intro).
The small dog has some sort of grudge against the one with glasses/femdog, and the boss has the memory of a basic calculator. Might try watching it again later (and then next week's episode) but I honestly cannot see myself watching this week-in week-out.
Maybe once the characters are sorted then yeah, it could be good, but for now I've got no clue about it.

Best one yet, man. I'll be giving this series another chance yet.

I actually lol'd:
"I'm firing Chet from accounting; I didn't like his shirt."
"That was a Christmas present, sir. From you."

"That's Phillip sir, and I believe that shirt was a Christmas gift, from you."

"Well how thoughtless of me!"

That was hilarious! I'll be watching this every week.

Good job guys!

Another great episode, good job guys. I'd also really love to play the game that the characters will hopefully make.

I am starting to lean away from this a bit. Mr. Yee's forgetfullness was funny the first couple of times, then it got old really quick.

Also, these 3 episodes the focus seems to have been on the management folk, and not the actually game designers. If the designers are suppsoed to be the focus, how about an episode with just them. No little whiny ***** dog, and no uber-forgetful boss.

I'm still willing to give it another couple episodes, because sometimes things like this take a bit to find their stride.

Didn't like this one. Didn't have bob in it. (if bob was the sandwich guy's name)
