It was better than I thought it'd be.

Unfortunately I still don't think it's good.

I didn't laugh, I didn't react, nothing happened while I was watching this..
Except one thought.

"I get it, they're DOGS."

Please don't tell me that the fact they're dogs is gonna be the joke that carries the show?

Not impressed, although I did try.

It a decent pilot, it made me chuckle a little.

Who knows, maybe the series will take of, maybe it'll flop!
Its to early to be certain.

(Its just a good thing this is the internet and not television, as we all know how the bumbling executives love tearing apart good shows to keep their lames ones going! >:/)

Lol, man, I'm seeing some major inconsistencies in opinions.

"The trailer was bad, so the show was bad"
Yeah, and the art on a cereal box determines the quality of the cereal inside.

"No wait, now I think the trailer was good, but now they ruined it with slapstick!"
what's wrong with slapstick?

"Furries will take over!"
Heavy groan...

"This is a pitiful formula attempt to appease specific demographics of nerds!"
...um... duh? What, you think Unskippable wasn't aimed for MST3K fans? And your precious Unforgotten Realms wasn't aimed for Dungeons and Dragons fans? If it wasn't aimed for a specific group of nerds, it wouldn't be an escapist cartoon!

"This show goes against everything I believe in as a cartoon lover and a human being!"
Okay, can we all just take a breath and smoke a joint? Jesus, it's just a cartoon, people.

I think we should all consider this show to be an acquired taste, like Unskippable. No, not everyone's going to like it, but those of us who enjoy what's been presented so far will probably like the final product a whole lot and those who don't will most likely poop their pampers and throw a fit in the form of a giant crusade against all things anthropomorphic.

So, just move on if you don't like it and show your support if you do. I'm glad to see some of you give a simple "Meh, not my thing..." and move on, like a mature adult!

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, express your opinion. What I meant was don't obsess over something you hate, you'll live longer. Say your peace and move on is what I was trying to say. If you want to give constructive criticism, great! Just don't take this cartoon (or any cartoon) seriously, and don't take me seriously for that matter. And on that note, I'm gonna get off this topic. I've spent way too much time and energy talking to ones and zeros. I wish this show good luck. Peace.

Relaxed dude, Nerdy dude, Straight man, The girl (personality can very), stir for 20 minutes on open flame. Add in fur of dog (to conceal lack of creativity (we all hate that taste)) and mix until uniform. Let it cool. If you wish to submit this video series to a certain website. Season it with whatever the site's main attraction is about(games humor). And there you have it. A show about dogs that is completely average in every way.

So, just move on if you don't like it and show your support if you do. I'm glad to see that some of us aren't going on a huge hate spree. Hell, I'm glad to see some of you give a simple "Meh, not my thing..." and move on, like a mature adult!
I don't know about that... If everyone that didn't like it just moves on without explaining why they didn't like it, where does the constructive criticism come from? People who just say "'Meh, not my thing...' and move on, like a mature adult" Don't really help the show, do they? Russ Pitts is one of those aforementioned mature adults. He can take the criticism.

That's not precisely what I mean, but you make a good point...
I mean don't obsess over something you don't like, nothing wrong with constructive criticism.

Anyhow, I've said all I wanted to say and now I feel like I'm putting too much time and effort into this. So, I hope the show does well, it probably will. Hell, look at all the attention it's getting, lol! It's been on less then a day and already has 7 pages of comments, pretty good.

Just don't take this cartoon or myself seriously ;)

It made me giggle, a bit but it wasn't worthy of laugh out loud. However this was only the first episode and I believe this show can become really good just like Apocalypse lane. It was rubbish the first few episode but now look at it, it's brilliant. So in conclusion, good work guys.

seriously, who even plays that anymore? let alone gives two craps about the "controversy"?)
Yeah who still plays boring old tabletop games anymore... oh yeah only an estimated 20 million by 2004 and an estimated 6 million in 2007 alone and that's not counting all the other games and systems on the market. [footnote]http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/3655627.stm[/footnote] Also, way to miss the point. Granted by your comment I take it you are not old enough to remember all those crazy controversies of the 80's(the show being set in the 80's when these were very much in the news), so I can't fault you too much, but the show is taking a crack at all those by juxtaposing that with someone actually getting hurt by his own clumsiness, not due to trying to emulate something from the game.

Hmm...well it was better than I expected. In truth that's not saying much, but I think it was better than Apocalypse Lane. I'd be lying if I said I laughed out loud, but I did smile, and it does seem to have potential. Considering it was the pilot, and if some (preferably most, or all) of the slapstick was replaced by witty writing, I think it would be genuinely funny.

Looking forward to the next episode to see if it improves. Besides, it'd probably be healthy for me to be exposed to something furry that isn't pornography for once.

100xp points. alright first ep, would like to see more before i know if i like it or not

also worried that the Girl will become similar to Tex from RVB
What was wrong with tex? I found her the weakest character in the series but I didn't hate her because I couldn't put my finger on what made her the worst.

O.T: I like the show, keep it up. Apocalypse lane is like just like this, some people love it and others hate it, I never really like apocalypse lane but this is good. I still don't think they need to be dogs but than can be said about everything with animals instead of people.
Oh no you misunderstand, tex was a good character that i liked except that im afraid that this character will almost copy it,

Yeah, doesn't look any good to me.

Apocalypse lane still hasn't made me laugh, though, so this probably won't either.
