Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Game was quite fun but the hell guys. I'm not gonna talk about it because anyone who played it will know what I mean.

:(
My opinion of the fourth ending can be summed up as "BOO, NO EXPLOSION!"

Patapon 3's ending... wasn't bad... But it definitely left me kind of confused. The past two were pretty clear that there was going to be a sequel, but this one didn't show any indication and I felt unsatisfied with this one ending the series from a story-wise perspective. Gameplay-wise I'd say it was great for a final chapter, though. They modified the original formula such that it still played the same but felt massively different. It's just... what happened?

Too Human. Loved it... until the end. Mostly because the story took a major dive in that final act, and then I realized how short the game was. It feels like it was a quarter the length it should've been. Underrated gem nonetheless.

Indigo Prophecy. I loved the game until the last third of it. It was as though the developers completely forgot about what they were writing.
Agreed. I didn't like any of the endings.

Prototype....

Really game, that was it?

Don't get me wrong, the game itself wasn't fantastic, but just as I was really getting the story and TRYING to understand the protagonist, Alex Mercer = Good guy?, Bad guy?, Moron? *Shrug, the game just ended.

I honestly didn't even realise I had finished it till the credits started rolling.

Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy had the most ridiculous final quarter of any game I've ever played. So it's a nice adventure game along the lines of the later Broken Sword games; lots of spooky crap happening, possession etc.

<spoiler=Spoiler>Eventually, it becomes evident that there are 2 separate factions messing with you. One is occult-y. That's cool. The other is the internet. I'm not even kidding.
I reached the point where the zombie was having a kung fu battle with the internet and realized it had to be some kind of metajoke.

The ending to F.E.A.R. 2 was rather disappointing. It hit so abruptly and anti-climatically (though I'm sure the antagonist could beg to differ) that I was left unable to comprehend what just happened for a good ten minutes. Where the first game's ending was a heart-pounding gauntlet of adrenaline and emotional drainage with quite literally an explosive finish, the second's ending was a five minute trip through an over-bloomed orange dream world with quick-time events and sexual moaning in the background...which I guess means that there was still an explosive finish...just in a different context.

Metal Gear Solid 4.
You just couldn't give Snake a dignified dead, eh Kojima? I guess the chance of MGS5 and the possibility of fans camping outside your house because "whaaa, whaaa, Snake can't die" were too big a detriment?
Well... F you. You take away what could be a pretty epic closure and change the entire world to a pink, sweet, disney-like version so that they could live happily ever after. In fact, forget that... at least Disney had the balls to kill Mufasa at the beginning of the movie and LEAVE HIM DEAD!
I'm afraid you can't criticize Metal Gear's storyline. Or analyse Metal Gear's story. Haters won't listen to explanations, and the fan just love the incomprehensibility.

Also:
SNAKE DID DIE. He had an incurable disease and about 6 months to live. Big Boss did die, but he faked his death a great number of times in true MGS tradition. Disney killed Mufasa and left him dead, but they didn't have him shoot himself in the head when the stampede came in.
What makes you think I am not a fan? So, your point is that because people like something, its immediately excluded of critiques? Because only true fans can criticize it, and anyone that doesn't loath it as flawless is not a true fan, nothing can touch it. That is some broken logic there... I would check on a dictionary, I think you are confusing "fan" with "zealot", although maybe that is exactly what it means to you.

Every game is open to criticism. To criticize a bad game is easy, but you can learn a lot by finding things to improve in games that you consider good.

MGS's story is complex, which doesn't always means its good. If there is one person in the industry in desperate need of an editor, its Kojima. Also:
Snake didn't shoot himself in the head, that is the whole point. He chickened out, and risk the entire world to die of a mutated disease (which we later find out is fine because Big Boss pulled a huge deus ex machina and the threat is gone). Mufasa died saving his son, not only did he not shoot himself (whatever that argument means), but he also didn't dodge the stampede in the last second saying "yeah, I think this kids movie would suck if I died" and lived happily ever after with his family

I mean that no matter what problems you find with MGS's story, I will still consider them an integral part of the franchise and be disappointed if I ever play a Metal Gear game that makes sense.

I'm not trying to say that you're not a "true fan", but I think that Hideo Kojima Makes Up Random Bullshit could be considered as a title for a potential new MGS game, and nobody would argue.

I get your point, I just think many people forget the "random bullshit" part... I also wished the bullshit ratio was more evenly spread, instead of growing exponentially until it reaches critical mass in the last 30 minutes.

The last 30 minutes? Don't you mean every 30 minutes?

Killzone 3. Sure, I don't really like FPS games and it was already repetetive. But the ending. What a waste. Even with a friend it felt stupid.
I've been trying to repress all memory of the atrocities committed against Killzone during the course of KZ3's plot.....

I thought that was a great ending just so I could go to my friends the next day and say: "I was just raped by a pyschic dead girl-what are you doing with your lives?"

Neverwinter nights 2
i can't do the spoiler tags but the game is pretty old now anyway.
The fact that no matter what you do you have to kill at least 1 of your companions in the final battle.
Fortunately, if you're smart it's Quara so that's more of a reward in itself. Beyond that, yeah, it's pretty terrible, especially when you get to MotB.

Bonus hilarity if you import your character from NWN2 into Storm of the Zehir, because Khelgar won't recognize you at all, and still whine about waiting for your return.

I hated the hold Dream being thing in FFX. It was stupid I thought it could have been left out and the game would have been fine.
