The endings to all Kingdom Hearts games. Either makes me cry from sadness or happiness, and then sadness because they ended.

Specifically, the "Maria," "In Water" and "Rebirth" endings to Silent Hill 2, and the canon ending to Fatal Frame 2. They were really horrible, in a good way.

ME2s ending made me sad because of the stupid. Come on, Bioware. I expect better of you.
(Talking about the end boss, BTW. I mean, COME THE FUCK ON.)

Sorry, don't know how to do the spoiler so yeah...

I was actually touched by Enslaved's ending. I thought The fact that Trip would kill the pseudo-man trying to take Monkey away from her, and in the process possibly screwing what might have been the majority of the remaining humanity. The fact the she wasn't even sure if what she did was right and Piggy-Man dying didn't help me feel much better either.

Shadow of the Colossus and Borderlands.

Shadow of the Colossus made me sad and Borderlands made me disappointed.

Battlefield: bad company 2.

When Flin died (the helicopter pilot) i threw my controller an fled to the corner to cry, while his last words "Thanks for the smokes brother!" still rang in my ears

In recent memory, MGS3's ending. You learn the truth about what you've been doing for the entire game, and then this sickening "ooohhhh" feeling sets in your stomach.
Big Boss's manly tears don't help.
Also, Silent Hill 2. Not any part in particular, just Silent Hill 2. Everything is so gray and bleak and depressing, and Mr. Sunderland's haunting (in a good way) voice acting is just icing atop the cake of sorrow.

Borderlands.

I really thought they could have done something better; I'd really been enjoying the game up to that point.

Metal Gear Solid 3, Eva's monologue and Snake's resulting reaction is heart wrenching.

Spoiler warning dude. Thanks for ruining MGS3 for me.
The game has been out for 7 years, the world can't hide behind spoilers because you didn't play a game you probably weren't going to play.

Do you think I was angry at the world because I knew the twists in System Shock 2 and Final Fantasy VII before I played them? No.
So just mention MSG3, and then put the description in a spoiler tag. It's really not hard.

Many people play games for the first time years after they come out - maybe someone who never used consoles and wants to try out some legacy PS titles that he's heard great things about... except now the story that was so great for you will have no impact for him.

Red Dead was amazing, its endings had three feels, homecoming (the first), tragedy (the second), and closure (the third). SUCH an amazing game, easily the greatest ending to a game, but definitely one of the saddest.

That being said, I was probably one of the few people that felt bad about the decisions I made during my rule as King of Albion in Fable III. I screwed some people over, and I know they're just a bunch of 0's and 1's in an above-average game, but I kinda felt like a dick. (Coming from the guy who couldn't withhold his rage for the stupid populace and turned a lot of civilians into wrapping paper in PROTOTYPE) Not to mention I lost half of the kingdom to the Crawler, kinda made me sad.

Getting 100 Power Cells in Jak and Daxter was sad too, I WANTEHD TO KNOW WAHT WHAS GONNAH AHPPEHN!

I teared up due to the imfamous 2 good ending, where you are good all the way through. I loved it. I was trying not to cry, as my friends would have made fun of me. But when i told them they were the same.

Red Dead's ending was absolutely brilliant, although it lost its effectiveness the second time around.

Dragon Age: Origins' sacrifice ending was also incredibly bittersweet for me, and I though that it was far and away the best possible ending to the game.

Infamous 2 good ending, is so bittersweet as I understand why it needed to happen. But at the same time watching all of the main characters do the right thing makes me feel good.
