Game Music on your iPod

Oh, I have MANY game soundtracks on my iPod, so I'll name my top 10!

The Black Mages

Little Big PLanet OST

I loved Lunar (as in, one of my favorites ever) and part of that is from the music. that's why it makes me cry when I pop in the soundtracks to it and Lunar 2 and not all of the songs are there!

Biggest peeve: The music for Jean's theme (in bromides) is omitted.

Lunar 2 was a great game, as well! I love Leo! He had some of the greatest lines in VG voice acting history! I, too, was angry that Jean's theme was omitted from the OST. It was so upbeat and catchy.

My friend had all the sounds from AOM like commands,effects, and such. I doubt he actually listened to them, but it still wierded me out.

Currently gracing my iPod:

-Destruction Derby 2 (PS1) - Music readily available from game cd; pop it in your cd player, skip track 1 and have at it. I've always thought of it as an outstanding rock album with a game attached.
-Spyro the Dragon (PS1) - C'mon man! Stewart Copeland! You can hear 'The Police' rock/ska influence fighting for control...
-Ape Escape (PS1) - Extracted from game disk via windows app; I love the drum & bass!
-Ico (PS2) - Perfect for bad moods or painting/drawing sessions.
-Wipeout XL (PS1) - My introduction to the world of electronica and d&b.
-Silent Hill 2&3 (PS... oh you know!) - When I found out the movie's soundtrack was taken directly from the games, I had to have them...

I don't have many songs from games on my iPod. (Har. Take my blatant product advertisement.)

I just have the odd song, such as "Nerevar Rising" from Morrowind, or "Hell March" from Red Alert.

I think my Zune is half-full of game music; all five albums of the Halo series (Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 2 vol. 2, and the 2-volume Halo 3 set), the freebies from Bioshock, the Mass Effect soundtrack, and about an hour's worth of miscellaneous titles from OCRemix.

I'd forgotten that I also have the Mechwarrior 2 soundtrack on there too, and some of the C&C2: Red Alert too.

Eek. I think I have more game music on there now than other music; time to freshen the mix.
