Is it a bad thing that I have a self made CD in my car atm, that is just full of Sonic songs?

I don't mean the old school music, I mean the good 80's rock style music by Crush 40 and such.

Songs ranging from "With Me":

to "Open Your Heart(2009 Mix)":

I love it =] It's probably the most played CD I have

I've got a select group of favorites on my iPod, most of them originating from Legend of Zelda. I have been wanting BioShock music and the theme from Halo, but I can't seem to get them anywhere, least of all on iTunes anyway. I also have several fan-created songs based on Half-Life and Portal, and the soundtrack to Black Mesa, which is available on their website.

I can do you guys one better. :p Here we go:

Valkyria Chronicles
Chrono Trigger and most remixes that exist on the internet
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
Super Mario RPG
Xenosaga 1, 2, and 3
Everything from Every Metal Gear Game (including the MGS4 unreleased tracks behind the cutscenes and stuff)
Persona 3 and 4 and FES
All of Guilty Gear
.hack//GU (all 3 games)
Kirby Superstar (and splashing from other Kirby games)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Shadow of the Colossus (partial)
Threads of Fate/Dewprism
Halo
Lunar 2 Eternal Blue
System Shock 2
Marathon
Sonic Heroes
Sonic Adventure 2

And splashes of songs from other games.

...I'd have to say I recommend Metal Gear's music the most, just due to its ridiculous epic and atmosphere and stuff. Persona is also really good and has a pop/rock theme going on. Chrono Trigger is stellar if you're into 16-bit stuff (and has great melodies besides), and its remixes can often be hugely awesome.

I hate having to pick.

I have a folder with original C64 game music on my psp. Love it!! Maybe it's also because it's a variable of nostalgia (...and me just being a bit awkward :p).

I have very few game music songs...in fact the only one I think I have is the Loco Roco main theme...always raises a smile when it comes round on shuffle.

Does anyone know the best legal way to get game music in the UK? Downloadable or shop wise.

now see, what are we talking about? Do you mean music FROM a game or music IN a game?

For instance on mypod i have

-Battlefield Theme (Orchestral Version): Battlefield Bad Company
-The entire Get Equiped album by the Megas : Mega Man 2 (technically this is true)
-Silent Hill Theme : Silent Hill
-The Chosen (Assassins Creed) : Assassins Creed
-You're Not Here : Silent Hill 2
-Your Rain : Silent Hill 4 The Room

Those are all FROM a game. But I have music that is IN games too, if i don't count GH games there are still several, plus the ones from commercials of games e.g.

-Hikari : Kingdom Hearts
-Still Alive : Portal
-Oh No You Didn't : Mercenaries 2
-The Finger Points to You : The Saboteur
-Feeling Good : The Saboteur

So that makes the matter of game music questionable depending entirely on the definition.
