When I saw the title of this thread the first two words that went though my mind were "Guilty Gear?; I?m glad to know I wasn?t the only one.

But I also have to add the more recent Dynasty Warriors? soundtracks, particularly 7 and 8.

It's not combat-related, but certain tracks from the Ace Attorney series (namely the ''Cornered'' themes) really get me pumped in that ''Oh yeah! I am so close to exposing the real murderer!'' kind of way.

This one from Metal Gear Rising that I heard the other day, now I haven't played it, but it makes me want to!

What's cool about MGR is that in most of the boss fights the soundtrack is split into an instrumental overture, and then a hellish blaze of power chords and roaring vocals when the first stage of the fight ends (this usually involves mashing a button to not die or cutting through stuff to not die). It does a fantastic job setting the tempo of things.

Also that big robot in the preview? You kill it by running up the missiles it shoots at you and cutting it in half. After you throw it across a downtown plaza.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Violent Storm.

All Konami brawlers really, although none of the others had so many songs with vocals. You can always tell a Konami arcade soundtrack because they used ALL THE ORCHESTRA HITS. Even in the old West, orchestra hits and metal guitar in full force. Sunset riders sounds like a Sergeio Leone movie scored by Robert Palmer.

I Need to play this game! Any idea which is the better version, 360, Ps3 or PC?

I thought that was fan art, you fight a Metal Gear Ray!? That's awesome, but as Raiden, before he was a cyborg, I took out a dozen, is there something special about it?

FF13's been a easy punching bag for it's whole existence, but it gave me this amazing song so I'll never have regrets about playing it.
