1. Witcher 2. Best RPG I've played in years. Yes it was a bit grimdark, but its world of politics and scheming and shades of grey is what I THOUGHT I was getting with DA:O, instead of "Orc stand-ins attack, plucky heroes must stop them".
2. Anno 2070. Builder/strategy title with staggering depth. Absolute time vortex. I can't recall how many times I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off, setting up complex supply chains and graduating part of of my city only to unlock five more supply chains and a host of needs. Real breath of fresh air in an age where everything seems to be getting streamlined.
3. Saints Row 3. Horribly juvenile to the point of being puerile, yet its so unabashedly stupid it soars right past offensive into fun. Everything handles well, the game looks good and runs beautifully, and there's a surprising amount of content on offer.
