I don't know... Red Faction, probably, although it's a little short and the Guerrilla Actions are annoying as hell. There's most definitely better to come this year, though.

Empire: Total War

It would be mine as well were it not for the fact that during the loading screens i can grow a beard.

I say prototype, because i cant think of any other games this year.

Gonna go with Red Faction too. I enjoyed the guerrilla actions, especially the giant robot destruction darbies.

That last mission was bastard hard but so satisfying to beat.

Smashing shit up in that game just never gets old!

I would say that if the answer is yes. Apart from that there is nothing which has been released this year that I would call game of the year for me.
