I'm going to go for uncharted 2, which this obvious choice because it's the best choice

Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box.

Oh wait, that's just the American version, so it doesn't count. I'd have to say Left 4 Dead 2, Borderlands, or Prototype. Left 4 Dead 2 is an improvement on the original in nearly every way. Borderlands was just a fresh mix of genres and a fun multiplayer experience. The gun selection alone is enough to get it Game of the Year. And Prototype was the game that everyone has been wanting, yet for some reason was torn down by critics. It was the first game that had you running around mercilessly killing people and monsters with nearly no penalties. It was probably the most fun game I've ever played. Graphics, story, and voice acting don't matter. What matters is if it was fun.

i would disqualify mw2 , it hasn't been out that long ,and to go by sales alone doesn't mean much , i got it but soon hated it so that is one vote against it
