I would be Arryn, chillin in my neutral mountain stronghold, which would be surrounded by a cloud of fine ass mountain weed. As HIGH as Honor bitches!

JK, though I do like Arryn, and I would probably choose them if Jon Arryn was in charge. I do really like their motto too.

Mormont would suck, living on a desolate island, but I love their motto as well "Here we stand", so I might pick them.

I'd love to be a Martell. They're so freaking awesome. Just chillin over in their exotic cribs, eating oranges and stuff. Plus Oberyn is awesome.

Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken.

I'd be in House Tyrell. I really wouldn't mind having Olenna as a matriarch, and I quite like most members of the house, as well.

I'd be House Martell. I just love their attitude: hot blooded, yet laid back.

There's just a sense of quiet menace about them. They're not loud and shouty like the Lanninsters or morally self righteous like the Starks. But they have a presence that makes the other houses wary. I like that.

Plus I get the impression reading about Dorne that it's some sort of amalgam of South America, the Middle East and India. And being form India, I have to support the homies.

House Martell most likely.

Dorne seems like a very nice place as described in the books, like a mixture of Spain and N. Africa. And, I like their laid back laws especially their approach to bastards who are not looked down upon at all and the fact that women can inherit and be the heir to a House.

House Lannister is basically ruled by Lord Tywin if he goes nobody else could save it. Cercei is too retarded, Jamie doesnt care for politics, and neither Tywin nor Cercei would ever let Tyrion run the House.

House Stark died with Ned Stark and his noble nonsense.

House Baratheon is currently run by a madman under the influence of a crazy red priest.

House Tyrell seems quite nice but I think they lack the manpower and willpower for fullscale war. Lady Olenna is really the smarts behind that house and she's old like Tywin.

House Greyjoy are all crazy iron born people drowning themselves in seawater and don't give a shit about ruling the mainland or properly ruling for that matter, their motto says it all "We Do Not Sow."

Not really. I can't say much else without it being a spoiler though.

House Martell were/are in alliance with House Targayrian, they still are. In the books, members of each family planned an arranged marriage with Daenerys and one of the Martells. He even travels to her with the intent of offering an alliance.

You know what? Screw the houses and all their petty bickering. I'm taking The Black.

House Martell

If I could get used to the desert climate, then that house would probably be my best chance of survival.

In order of preference

Stark
Targaryen
Martell
Tyrell
Tully

Joining any other house I can think of at the moment would necessarily begin with me attempting to off at least one of my new family members for being one of the crazy SOBs running around f***ing things up for the entire kingdom.

I'm going to have to be unoriginal and say Stark. I have thought about it and considered plenty of others, but Tyrell isn't grounded enough, I'm likely too honest and gullible for the Lannisters despite them having probably the best individual members of any house, Clegane is a bit of an unknown quantity except for the Hound and the Mountain which makes it hard to identify with, Baratheon's a cult and Greyjoy are assholes. Starks value all those integrity, strength, loyalty, honour traits, are associated with wolves, and while they don't have the manipulative power of the more political houses, they're indomitable when there's actual combat. Shame what happened to them. Within the Starks I'd likely be Jon Snow for a number of reasons.
