one of my Sergeants got mad when we were all playing Gears of War 2. it came down to "Duran if you chainsaw me one more fucking time im gonna rape y..(insert chainsaw death here)..YOU MUTHER FUCKER IM GONNA SKULL FUCK YOU!"
i just laughed and made him more mad.

Yes! those caused me so much fucking anger sometimes. I havent had a good controller breaking experience since the days of playing my PS2. Now a days i just say fuck it and stop playing for a while. Nothing used to piss me off more than the AI doing something cheap to win, case in point the catch up Mario Kart or the bullshit blue spikey turtle. If im that far ahead its not my fault everyone else sucks!

Ah see the rest of the game was fine, I wouldn't get angry if I lost any of the races. DAMN LICENSE TESTS!! RAGGGEE

I remember once we were playing Halo 2 in my barracks and my platoon sergeant threw the remote at the tv and actually broke the screen. But I think the worst game rage moment for me was when I almost finished this level on l4d and right before i got to the APC a tank knocked me down and my teammates left me, I smashed my laptop and threw it out the balcony into my pool... and then I remembered, it wasn't my laptop! That bipolar rage cost me $975.

My ex-boyfriend started throwing furniture around his room due to a game, once. I specifically remember an office chair being thrown into his desk, which caused everything on the desk to be flung throughout the room.

He tried to throw the console, as well, but I was at least able to stop him from doing that (I was in too much shock to stop him from the start).

But anyway best case of gamer rage i saw was when for some godknows what reason the stars were aligned but my friends little brother kept owning him in streetfigther 2. Over. and over. and over again. Till he couldn't take it anymore and he reached over grabbed his little brothers carvel icecream sundae and chucked it straight out the second story window of his bedroom. funny ass shit. there was crying and laughing, and swearing and it still comes up in random conversation to this day.

Street Fighter 4 brings out the rage in me. I have said things... horrible things... I basically play for half an hour and if I fight nothing but Sagat, Ken, or the Blanka that I can't fucking touch then I switch to Tetris to calm me down and collect my thoughts before going back in.

Unlocking Gouken in SF4 was pure rage-a-hol for me. Seth would go from super easy, to totally impossible between rounds

Heh. Warhammer Online, correct? I hear Mythic's idea of "balance" is to cycle between what classes are overpowered rather than actually evening them out. Rather than a balance it's more like a see-saw.

i don't get game rage often (i get angry enough to hope for the worst on my enemy but that's it)

but i actualy have a cousin (who is exacly one year older then me) that every time he started losing at all on mario party (or any other game) he would get up turn off the console and pretty much was hated more and more with every passing game (he did this around 3 or 4 times my cousins came over) and this was when i was around 9 - 10

With most games, no. With platforming games, quite frequently. The third or fourth time I plummet to death in the same pit I usually swear loudly and turn of the console.

I remember one funny incident...about a year and a half ago, I lived in the slums of a small town in upstate NY...my roomate was playing Bioshock on the hardest difficulty, trying to get the 'seriously good at this' achievment. He died in the same spot over and over again, so being who I am, I had to throw in a few smartass lines, such as 'Hey, I've got an idea. Stop getting killed, maybe that will work.' Anyway, between the game, and me being a complete dick, he got up and kicked the wall. HARD. So hard, in fact, that his foot went clean threw, and hit the chair our neighbor was sitting in, which caused his beverage (a double shot of Jack Daniels) to splash into his eyes...he was so pissed. Only time I've ever gotten physically into a fight over a videogame. A videogame SOMEONE ELSE was playing, no less...
