I've been considering this for the last year or so, I only haven't yet because I donate blood.

I've a few things kicking around I may want to get down the road. 1st things first though I still have to have my last tattoo touched up.

Symbol of The Brotherhood of Nod.

To symbolize my membership of the Inquisition and my hatred for heretics (All the real big jerks in the world)

Dimentio. A cutsie somewhat psychopathic magician with plans to conquer the universe one odd metaphor at a time. (Super Paper Mario, Nintendo).

Than something like this I would only consider many many years down the road, once financially well off. And have decided to become joined to the machines I work on. (Becoming a heavy equipment tech). And I love steampunk.

I've yet to decide where I'm going to get a inFAMOUS tat, but I think that's the next one I'm gonna have
(I also have two other AC themed tattoos and the Marek family crest on the back of my neck)

As for it being weird... it's only weird to other people, I don't care what they think!
That Assassins Creed tat is fucking awesome!

I cant remember where I saw it but someone had a Commander Keen tat the entire way down their forearm.

By that time all old people will be able to retire to virtual realities of their own creation anyway.

I'd get the The Last Supper done across the back of my shoulders, with Jesus and the Apostles replaced by game designers. Sid Meier would be Jesus.
Peter Molyneux as Judas?

now THOSE I like XD...(and are things Ive though about getting...similar places too)

what would you get for Infamous? if I was game enough to get somthing bigger and there was a decent design of Cole mcgrath...liek shooting blue lightening (I do actually have a pic of mcgrath on a T-shirt that could possibly work as a tatoo)

I agree tatoos only have meaning to you...no matter how silly it may seem to others..it doesnt matter

I actually find tatoos kind of attractive (not god awful ones obviously) and I can't see why some peopel love to complain about them

I still plan on getting the daggertail from Prince of Persia: Two Thrones on my right forearm at some point. Simple design, and yet the coolest thing I've ever seen in gaming.

You can donate blood and get tattoos, you just have to wait six months..Which is what, two donations?
Also, you might consider ignoring that one rule, since it's absurd for any western country, and they screen the blood anyway.

I want a few game-related tattoos some day. The one I want most is this symbol here:

(you guys can go ahead and guess where this is from~)

And, screw the triforce, if I get a Zelda tattoo it's gonna be the Hyrule crest. I've also thought of a tattoo of one of the brush gods from Okami (or maybe more than one), or the black hand/something that symbolizes the Dark Brotherhood.

That being said, I wouldn't get any of these tattoos as my first ever. I'm getting something not video game related as my first tattoo (from a friend who's currently working towards her apprenticeship as a tattoo artist).

I've always liked vaultboy...though I'm not sure that would work without looking silly

Yup! That'd be the Archangel insignia. Because I love the Mass Effect games so much, and Garrus is my favorite. C:

I keep seeing the Battlefield facebook page and the Crysis one posting these terrible portraits tats of Nanosuited guys or soldiers, mostly on ankles. Terrible, terrible tats. And they're just so tacky looking. They're oversized portraits wrapped around calves. It shows no respect for the shape of the area, and god, the distortion those things are going to get eventually *shudder*. It's like watching tatoo-mistakes in the making.

Getting one of a cool symbol, like the assassins symbol, or I saw one with that dragon symbol from skyrim (It's got a proper name, but I'm not up on lore), look good, because they're aesthetically pleasing either way. Even without the backstory, it looks good, or interesting.

Actually, I'm trying to design my first tatoo, and I was inspired a little by the tatoos in the brothel level: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=103765345 (Not sure if it's visible, oh well, it'll be out there on the internet somewhere). It would make a funny story. "Where'd you get the idea for the ink?" "Oh, a hooker in a video game." "That's nice... wait what?!"

I've already got a bunch of tatoos planned sort of, none of them really game-related, although I really don't see the objection so long as 1) You think it looks good. 2) You think it looks good as a tatoo. 3) It means something to you, whether you feel it makes you look better, or because you want it, but "Because I want to express my fandom for a part of pop-culture" is probably not the best reasoning.
If I saw something I really liked in a game that I though would make a good tatoo, I'd definitely be up for doing it as much as anything else.

That sounds like it would make a badass tatoo. I'ma tuck that away in my head now.

I will probably end up either getting a Chaos-based tattoo somewhere (Maybe in correspondence to cultist's) or I will get a couple of Eldar runes on like, my ankle or wrist or something.

I personally have several different tattoos, from Archangel Raphael on my chest (11.5 h), a grinning smiley face with cross-bones (2 h), "Your Name" on my ass (20 min.) <--- yes, I have your name tattooed on my ass, and it was my first tattoo.

Besides that, I would love to get more tattoos, most that I have planned are from movies such as "Not your f**king Khakis" speech by Tyler Durden in Fight Club. But, I want a large piece on my right thigh of Sweet Tooth. Yup, everyone's favorite ice cream truck driving psychopath :D.

I love tattoos, and if someone else loves tattoos, more power to them!
