Aw, man, I could totally ace that 100-coin star in Tick Tock Clock for you if you get the damn 100 coin star in Rainbow Ride for me... Closest I got was having 97 coins before falling down on that stupid (but awesome) level xD

Other than that, I guess Shin Megami Tensei: IMAGINE (yes, it's an MMO, but it has a main-plot). The controls are a bit too clunky for my liking...
Sure thing. Where shall we meet? haha!

And hey, someone else who played Digital Devil Saga: Shim Megami Tensei: Imagine: Online, the game with the longest name EVAR! lmao

Dark Void for one. I rented it, and once I got the jet pack I was fucking in love. But I only got to play it for the weekend, and had to send it back. We've since had to terminate our gamefly account, and honestly, I know I probably wouldn't replay it for at least a year, so I'm not about to spend $15 on maybe 3 or 4 hours of gameplay when I need that shit for food. But sad times nonetheless...

And this doesn't really count because I've actually gone back and beaten it, but I started playing Super Mario RPG on SNES when I was 7 -- and I didn't beat it until I was in High School. It was that puzzle on the ship just before the door with the giant squid thing... but that game was the shit. Geno is awesome.

Definately Homeworld. Loved the concept, visual style, story, music, everything, but it's also an RTS which is the gaming genre I personally have the most difficulty with. When I get stuck in an RTS my motivation just drains away, and I'm sad to say that Homeworld is no exception. Of all the games I've bought, it's consistently the game I return to, fail, and give up on over and over again.

One day.....

Fallout 1. I love this game but I just never finished it. Heres a little summary of my first time playing it
Oh god the first Fallout game was so hard you wont ever understand. So I just got out of the vault and almost died from a couple of rats... yes, rats (I dont think anyone has been killed by a rat in an RPG). So after defeating the rats with my are fists I find out that I actually have a gun... great, thanks for the info. Alright, so I get ot of the cave and go west on my map. Eventually I get to a random encounter and see a couple of super mutants kill a bunch of nomads or farmers or whatever they are, and immideatly they go for me after they have dealts with the other bystanders. Its a pretty unfair fight. They have laser rifles, miniguns and rocket launchers, and I have... now hold on... a 10mm pistol and my bare hands. So after getting annihilated I start all over again because there is no such thing as an autosave in this game. So I get out of the cave and go west again as I had been told. There should be a town if I headed west but nothing comes up. Eventually I find some sort of miliary camp and of course I think this is the town I have been told of... but no.The camp belongs to the supermutants, but these dont attack me, so I talk to one of them and for some reason I failed the speech test and gets captured. So they take me to their leader and asks me if I want to cooperate. No I dont want to, you just killed me in my earlier life, so I reject his offer and he wacks me in the head, alright. He then talks to me again and asks me if I want to cooperate... no, I dont want to. He wacks me one more time... and again... and again. I finally tell him yes, and a cutscene pops up. I see this living mummy (which I guess is he player) being lowered into a huge jar with radioactive goo and turn into a super mutant, and the game ends. Well fuck me, that was a short game.
I know that isnt the real ending, but after that I just lost my nerve and started playing the second Fallout which is a bit more forgiving

I also like Fallout 2. I got a bit further into it and almost got to the ending, ut then my PC got destroyed and my save was gone. So sad
I'm pretty sure the instructions were that you were supposed to go EAST in the beginning. The Mutant Base to the West of the Vault is the final level of the game, you went straight there after the introduction.

Maybe you should give it another shot? :D

Oblivion - OVER 9000 SIDE QUESTS!
IMO, if you've seen any given quest line with an arc through (Main Quest, Fighter's Guild, Dark Brotherhood), you've beaten Oblivion. The rest is either end-game content or fodder for a new playthrough.

Arcanum.

I've played through it a dozen times, but somehow I never finish it, and never have any memory of why it is no longer installed on my computer.

It's almost creepy.

I managed to complete it on my third playthrough, with my almighty hero battalion -- seriously, I had Lyn Eliwood and Hector all on lvl 20 with maxed out stats, backed up with the ultimate ranged and magic battalion.

This time I'm trying the Hector Campaign mode with the ultimate Hero + Cavalry battalion... the name describes it entirely.

Haha, true, it's indeed a long name, but it doesn't beat "AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity" [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Reckless_Disregard_for_Gravity] :p

Also, we can totally meet halfway to finish up each others Super Mario 64 games, right? Somewhere like Iceland or Greenland? I'll get my private jet fueled! xD

Banjo-Kazooie. As a kid, I just couldn't beat the final boss. If I had money to burn and the time, I would seriously consider buying it on the XBLA and defeating that dirty, fat, old hag.

I'm ashamed to admit I never beat Ico and Okami. Love them both, but circumstances prevented me for finishing them. I really should pick them up again some time. I can't right now, because of a third game I love but never finished: Demon's Souls. God, that game is punishing.

I would defiantly pass up kotor in favor of any of the other three. fan-fuckin-tastic games. remedy your transgressions! go forth! play the good classics over the lame starwars! nintendo's will be done!

...oh, and also, a big one. Not a single harvest moon game have I completed. I own 5 or six and have not seen ONE through to completion, regardless of my massive fanboyism. It eats at me in my dreams...
I've got spring break soon so I'll try to beat Okami then (wii is at home). KOTOR is a solid game but I don't see why it receives the amount of hype that it gets. the dialogue and story is pretty mediocre imo, but the actual game play mechanics are good.

Extermination for the PS2. I would just get frustrated midway through and I've never found out how it ended...

Pretty much all of my game collection :) But then again, half the fun of the game is lost once you beat it. Yes, it's not true for EVERY game, but I notice I rarely pick up games that I've 100% beaten all the way through again

The first Commandos game...God, it was a hard nut to crack. It was the first time I played a tactical real-time strategy game of its type (it was the first one anyway). Once past the first level you get the idea and it's really awesome. Fucking hard though...and then I stopped playing in the last level, and I don't understand why. It would've felt like SUCH and achievement.

Never actually finished FF7...in the last part where you go to Sephiroth, suddenly my entire party is too weak to beat the common creeps there, even though i had virtually no problem against the monsters before.

Baldur's Gate 2, I get caught up in chapter 2 where you roam free and solve quests at your own pace. In one playthrough I actually did go to Spellhold (the magical prison place), and it remember getting to underdark. It felt so linear from that point and I wasn't satisfied with my party setup that I started again ><
