I'm pretty sure someone has come along some of these when playing online or just playing in general. I'll begin with my two and see if anyone can help me out and ask their own questions.

1)What exactly does PSX mean/stand for? I know it's some kind of Playstation lingo, but since I've only ever played on my PS2 and have been a Nintendo/ PC gamer for a long time, so I have no idea what it is.

2)I don't really understand the whole "getting mad at someone for not headshot-ing you" thing? I shot you, I saw you first, I killed you first..if I am apparently lacking in skill, then why is it that you are dead and not me? =/

Also, the original abbreviation for the PS1 was PSX, and this was even with the Official stuff, it only became the PS1 when the PS2 was announced.

God I hate Sony's approach to abbreviations sometimes...

Also, the biggest thing I may never understand is how "pwn" came to be and why its originators were not publicly executed.

I believe it was originally a misspelling of "own" on a Warcraft 2 map and the internet just ran with it.

What I don't understand is why people still complain about meeting idiots on the internet. Seriously, you should have learned to ignore them by now.

the not headshotting this is usually only when they sneak up from behind you while you aren't moving (trying to get a decent shot or whatever). and then instead of aiming for a head shot, just randomly spray bullets until you die.

The internet has a habit of making celebrities of those least deserving. Think of this as a case of the "Internet's Got Talent"...lots of morons voting for other morons.
