I was curious if anybody has ever found a secret in a game that they are fairly sure nobody else has ever found or at least very few people have.

For me I discovered that in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle if you go to the chao world and into the dark garden if you hit you chao into the entrence and they touch the celing they will get stuck there until you leave. I didnt think I was the only one to find this but I searched the internet and no cheat site or video game site ever mentions anybody ever having done this so I guess I am the only one.

anybody else find things like this?

In Vectorman, in the 'SEGA' screen, there's a TV sitting just above the screen and the bottom point is just visible. When you smash it, you get an item that, when you use, the background stops moving and the solid SEGA sign goes dim like block words above a restaraunt that have busted lights. I'm pretty sure almost no one knows about that.

There is (or was, pre-Cataclysm) an area on the outside of the Silithus mountain range, next to the ocean, inaccessible save by swiming down from Feralas or over from Tanaris. It was a small jetty into the sea, with a large tree and a large house, with a fairly substantial cave jutting into the mountain. Totally empty, but there.

I'd heard of sort of "ghost areas" like that before, but I'd never seen anyone talk about that one before.

I first found out about that from a gaming magazine, about fifteen years ago.

Pretty cool to find it on your own, though.

A year or so back in WoW I found a sort of town far up in the mountains by Ironforge. It took quite a hike to get up to and was really a cool place with lots of buildings and trees. I've never seen anyone but the friends I discovered it with mention it.

In Deus ex: Invisible War, when I went to the that place covered in a nanite infested area there was a soda sell near the bar. I wanted a soda so I bought it. I realised that instead of getting the soda, I got a soda and the got credit equal to what the soda cost instead of loosing it. When I realized this, I was like "Awesome! Free money! >:)" and spammed the hell out of that merchant. Infinate soda and credits all mine.

If you go to the pyramid level in Commander Keen 4 that has the little inchworms crawling in the basement and bridge all of the pits separating them, they'll come together and form a giant foot that transports you to the crappy secret pyramid level you see on the world map.

In World of Warcraft before the first expansion I used to be an avid explorer, exploiting glitches and terrain bugs that allowed for wall-walking and slipping through textures to get places I shouldn't have been able to. Among those places the as-yet unopened Caverns of Time, Mount Hyjal, Karazhan Crypts, Ahn'qiraj, Outland, and most impressively 'Developer Island'.

That last one was particularly hard to reach, you had to glitch through the wall in a specific section of the Deadmines instance and then use a combo of various items (Or just be a mage) to survive the fall down to the ground. It was a flat surface for the most part the developers obviously used to text textures and models for various items and buildings before WOW was released, some of those models which never actually made it into WOW proper as far as I know such as the absolutely giant squid-temple-things. Pity, looked awesome. Dunno why it was ever even actually accessible in-game though, probably some quirk of the way the engine works.

So yeah, not many people will have gotten there I suspect, especially since come Burning Crusade most of the glitches you could exploit to get to these places were fixed up. Most players probably don't even know some of that stuff exists... well except for the stuff that was later implemented, they probably know about that!

There's a glitch in Mass Effect that allows you to equip any armor, regardless of whether or not it is Heavy or Light, or even designed for other races.

I don't know if anyone has heard of that before, but I don't have many other answers for this thread.

It's more of a glitch than a secret, but in Dragon Age: Origins on the computer, in the Circle Tower when you have to go into the Fade, I managed to get through the spirit doors using the mouse form. I figured, "Hey, it's the Fade. I'm already a mouse. Who says I can't go through this door?" I found a spot at the base of the door where the cursor lights up and clicking it took me through the door. It doesn't really do much for you, and I couldn't replicate it on the console. It surprised my girlfriend though, and she's poured plenty of hours into Origins.

I found that. It's a bastard to get up there. That's why no one is ever up there.

There's an amiga game called Jetstrike where there is a tiny random chance while you are flying that a UFO will crash into your plane, crashing it to the ground. Text comes up saying "no-one will ever believe you", which was absolutely correct, no-one did, especially since I was completely unable to reproduce it at the time. However this information is on the internet somewhere. The aliens are so sorry for their bad flying that they give you a super powered flying saucer to replace the plane you lost.

Metroid Fusion. In the first mission, where you have to clear those generators, look at the random scrap covering the generators. In the top left of it, there's a Gamecube.

Also, Fin Gleam in Oblivion.

Battle Arena Toshinden, about 12 years ago. I was holding some buttons on my Playstation controller (I couldn't remember what for the life of me afterwards) but it set all of the special moves to be executed with the shoulder buttons, which was great. I thought this was absolutely unheard of until I bought Play magazine (iirc) and saw it mentioned.

In Dark Fall: Lost souls if you ring the waiting bell 8 times in the reception area of the abandoned hotel then you can get a "real life" ghost sighting image.

It's not exactly very cool or secret, but I'm pretty sure I must be the only person on this board that knows that because I've never met another soul that knows about the dark fall series. (No pun intended)

Hmm, in Zelda Ocarina of Time, in Dodongo's Cavern, when you were in the lower chamber fighting the Lizardfos, if you jumped into the lava fall at a certain place, you'd go right through to a tiny little platform with a few hearts. Found it by being a kid and trying to kill Link. xD
