For me, JC2 and AC I and II are games with beautiful graphics.

What about you?

P.S. if you play JC2, check out X:22215m Y:13158 as the sun rises in the game, beautiful graphics there, stumbled upon then accidentaly.

Astonishingly competent and beautiful are different things.
Do you just want us to post good looking games (in which case, lots of people saying Crysis) or games that had okay graphics?

Assassin's Creed seconded, three years on the first game is still beautiful, and the sequel even more so. Love those views.

Mirror's Edge just all of it. it looked the same as the concept art... I also didn't think it was a bad game...

Cliche, I know but the final boss of Final Fantasy XIII (Orphan?) had an amazingly beautiful character design. I've never played the game and I'm not a FF fan but when I saw it I almost wanted to play it.

Batman: Arham Asylum has some gorgeous and stylish environments.

Carnival from MW2's resurgence map has some damn near photorealistic graphics (that horsey merry go round is amazing looking)

Crysis is pretty (especially as I can play it on full settings).

I also thought GOW3 was particularly scenic.

I remember outside the Temple of Time, as young Link, in the Ocarina of Time. This was on a Nintendo 64, but still one of the most lifelike sections of a video game i have ever seen.

*shudder* Ugh, Orphan... disturbing. That voice...

Well I think my computer would burst into tears if I tried to run Crysis on it (pun... actually intended, I'm sorry) so I can't say from first hand experience but from screenshots I've seen that game looks amazing. Most of the Final Fantasy series has been really graphically advanced for its time, Bioshocks 1 and 2 were just beautiful.

When I first played BioShock, after the plane crash it took me a good 30 seconds to realise that I had control.

More recently, Metro 2033 looks fan frakin tastic. Just so, so good. Lots of cool smoke and amazing DX11 lighting effects.

STALKER: CoP is pretty good at times, but the textures are a little sub par IMO. I know there's mods for the original games, I might have to download some for CoP and see if they work.

The vistas in the single player campaign of Bad Company 2 were quite impressive in terms of how realistic and beautiful they were.
