Game series that must be ended!

all that have more than 2 sequels. Anything more than that should be banned. It destroys originality.
Call of Duty, why won't they just quit while they're ahead?
Fallout, Bethesda royally screwed it up, but I'm waiting for New Vegas to see if the series has really been killed or not.
Grand Theft Auto, if Rockstar insists on going on this "Gritty and Realistic" theme for it than the series should simply end. If they're willing to go back to a pleasant mixture of drama and comedy, than they can still go places.
Fable, Molyneux, Fable II was about as good as you're going to get with this series, and that's still not too good, so just give it up and make another Black and White already.
The Sims, it's had its run, now do something new.
Madden, seriously, the series has had little to no change, just stop already.
Halo, trying to bring your fanbase of twitchy, hyperactive FPSers into real-time strategy was a TERRIBLE idea and a good sign that the series should stop.
I can feel Gears of War straying into this territory at times, I'm pretty sure it's a trilogy, but I feel that they've got about two more games in them before the series gets tired.

Eh, of all games, I feel that plotless music games can get away with incessant sequels. Unlike conventional games whose sequels that can rape a person's affectionate nostalgia, another guitar hero is just another guitar hero in my book.Airbear101 said:

Final Fantasy, 14 games is too much (Unless it are 14 awesome games like Overlord or the original Fable).
I would say Halo, but ODST and Reach sound somewhat refreshing.
I'm saying Metal Gear Solid. 4 should never have been made. Yes, I went there.
MGS 1,2 and 3 were all brilliant, although The Twin Snakes was a bit strange. I just found MGS 4 to be an abject failure in my view.

Wait. One of your "series that needs to end" is a TRILOGY? A complete trilogy, self contained. A trilogy that is OVER. Finished. No longing have sequels. Has stopped being made.dbrose said:

Thats very nearly one copy for every current British citizen. That's a heck of a lot. Something this mindblowingly successful has no reason to end. And they consistently get high scoring reviews, so you can't really argue that the games are low quality.
Final Fantasy? (not the 7's thought the seven series was epic, I actually want a remake of 7 for mah xbox) Oh and Halo, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Call of Duty, (they should have stopped with modern warfare instead of making more Nazis to kill) POKEMON! and Mario.
