Game series you want to see revived, but won't ever happen (probably)

Episode 1, 2 were expansion. portal 1 was just a part of orange box. portal 2 is only full game since HL2.BabyfartsMcgeezaks said:

Half life 3 will NEVER release. Anyone who think living in fantasy world. recently Half life lead writer departed from valve. Valve will never make HL3 or any full fledge games. I wont be surpised if Left 4 dead 3 or portal 3 will never come.
This thread seems to have abandoned the criteria of "two or more generations ago," but hey, allows me to wax lyrical. So, on that note:
-Advance Wars
-Command & Conquer
-Darksiders
-Dead Space
-Golden Sun (if only to resolve Dark Dawn's cliffhanger - I was otherwise fine with the two installments existing as a duology, thank you very much)
-Half-Life (again with the cliffhanger)
-Marathon (hey, if Doom gets a remake, can't Marathon get similar love?)
-Metal Arms (okay, never actually played the game, but as Blizz owns the rights, I can still dream, can't I?)
-Perfect Dark
-Spyro the Dragon (I'm not counting Skylanders as Spyro games, but rather games that happen to have Spyro in them)
I'll give some shotouts to Banjo-Kazooie, Medal of Honour, and Conker, but I'm not really clamouring for their return in the same way as the above series. Just something that would be nice to see.

Shadow Hearts. Never gonna happen since Azure and Nautilus got out of the game but god damn did I love these as a teenager.

Speaking of hurting to try, it seems developers will never learn with shitty movie tie-in games a-la Ghostbusters. Last Ghostbusters game I played was of the SEGA variety, and I don't think I ever beat it. Got close, though, and didn't wish to see a new one get made. This new game doesn't seem to improve on much, IMO, and that says something.
